could iron tablets cause the baby to drop early or has she dropped on her own?

im 32 weeks pregnant and the midwife told me today the baby have dropped really low and she could come anytime, does that mean i could go into labor early or is she just saying it cause im getting closer and closer to 37 weeks? or has the baby dropped because shes just getting ready to come? and does anyone think that iron tablets could have caused this, ive only been on iron tablets a week and i take 2 a day, and the baby dropped yesterday my mum first noticed it,

does anyone think ive dropped to early and that my baby is going to come early?

I have been severly anemic for most of my life and started taking iron pills again with my second pregnancy and I am 36 weeks and still no sign of dropping... Sigh. Some woman dont drop until 2 or 3 hours before labor or wont drop at all till active labor. Every baby is different I can almost guarentee though that the iron pills have nothing to do with it. Good luck with your LO. Almost there! :)

32 weeks isn't really that early to drop. You could still go all the way, or even longer! I have taken one slow fe every day for all three of my pregnancies. my first was 4 days late, second was 10 days early, and we'll see about this one.
