i wen into the hospital 2day because i was hurting allot i was not 1 cm dilated yet i am what you call finger tip dilated. i am going to have a c- section and the nurse was telling me that more than likely by the time im 1 or 2 cm they will preform the c-section i am 27 weeks already so im considered full term :) ne ways i go c the dr on Friday do u think i might b ready by then, i know everyone is different but i just want to know what u ladies think .....

oooo well that makes more sense! If your already a finger tip dialated and want to go soon - I'd suggest getting out and walking/jumping up and down, whatever you can do to help push it to 2cm :) Good luck!

yeah i meant 37 sorry, yeah they scheduled my c section but the thing is that i have had premature births so my dr told me that as soon as i start to dilate or get to about 2 cm he might just go ahead n do the c section i was thinking the same thing y would it matter if i dilate or not if its gna b a c section... but im just going on what the dr said thanks for your time :)

27 weeks definetly not considered full term... if you meant 37 weeks you may dialate slightly more, but it's doubtful - most babies don't try to make their appearance until 40 weeks. Also don't they usually schedule c-sections? I didn't think it was reliant on being dialated as dialation has nothing to do with a c-section.
