And if so how many of you actually had it before you went into labor and how long before you went into labor?

Definately, it can be a sign of impending labor. The body produces lots of hormones to prepare for labor and birth and some help to "empty" the bowels. Have a great delivery!

It can be. But not a 100% given. I would be looking for more specific signs to be sure.

Here's a little something I found in an article @ parents.com Five signs that you're in labor.

During the early part of labor, your body begins to release prostaglandins, a group of hormonelike substances that cause the uterus to contract and help soften and dilate the cervix. But prostaglandins can also hyperstimulate the bowels, causing frequent stools or even diarrhea, according to Dr. Grabowski.

I hope this doesn't happen to me.
