When i was pregnant with my son my first i didn't start showing until i was 37 weeks pregnant. I was really surprised, he ended up being 8lbs and 8 oz and was a week late. Now, i'm pregnant with my daughter due on June 12th, i started showing at 3 months and last week she weighed in at 7lbs and 8oz. I'm a little worroid that she is going to be a big girl...I have a week and 3 days left...

My first pregnancy I gained 40 pounds and had an 8 pound 2 ounce baby. My second pregnancy I gained 25 pounds and had a 9 pound 10 ounce baby. Even thought I gained less the second time, I got a lot bigger.

Well it actually depends on your body, after the first pregnancy.... " How long ago were you pregnant?", That would be the appropriate question. From doctors point of view, your body takes at least 3 years to completely heal from your last pregnancy... If your body does not heal, then yeah, the second pregnancy will be a little bigger than the first one.

I did. My first pregnancy I didn't begin wearing maternity clothes until almost 6 months. Now pregnant with my second, I began wearing maternity bottoms at about 4 1/2 months. I did have a little pouch on my tummy with this one, but nothing major. I was planning on wearing my 2 piece this summer before I found out I was pregnant. I think your body just knows what it is expected to do after you've already had a child.

My daughter made my tummy HUGE! Everyone thought I was having twins. She was 9lbs 13.5oz. Now with my second I think I look smaller, but everyone says I'm about the same size. Doctor already agreed my son will be about the same size as my daughter. Big babies run on both sides (daddy's and my side). EVERY pregnancy is DIFFERENT in EVERY aspect!

My belly is smaller this time around and I started to show later, but I think it just depends on how the baby is sitting ect.

i dont know if it really gets bigger the second time but i definitely started showing earlier.

But also my first was a boy and my second is a girl and i got pregnant only 3 months after having #1, so i was probably still all stretched out.

I am definitely bigger this time with #2. It's all baby all out front. I've had a few comments on how big I am for how far along I am. I was all baby & all out front with #1 also, but just so much bigger this time.

My tummy doesn't get bigger with each pregnancy but gets bigger sooner. Like with my first, i didn't need to wear maternity clothes until after 6 months. Now I;m 19 weeks with #4 and have 1 pair of pants, 1 shorts, and 2 skirts left that I'm clinging to!!! It's so funny, your first you can't wait to wear the maternity clothes, later you put it off as much as possible!!!

Also i think you feel movement sooner because you already know what it feels like. With the first, you're like, Was that it? or was it gas?

You are more likely to show more 2nd time around because your stomach muscles are stretched. However it depends on your lifestyle, what you eat, excercise and the baby.
I am 25 wks pregnant. This time around i am bigger but i am not working fulltime, the babys in a different position and was 30% bigger then our first at our 12wk ultrasound.

So far my pregnancies are very similar, although I've started showing MUCH sooner, and felt movements before I thought I would as well.

By 12 weeks this second time around my belly was clearly poking out and others could tell I was pregnant. I'm 20 weeks and I look huge! It really does depend on the pregnancy and how you carry the baby too, I tend to carry my babies out front so it sticks out a bit.

Mine didn't, but I really made an effort to get my abs back in shape. Then there is always how you eat and care for yourself during the pregnancy.

Mine did... the whole pregnancy was completely different than my first though. It really just depends, everyone is different!

my first son was 9 lbs and 6 ozs and i gained 78 lbs. i was huge. This second pregnancy (now) i know i gained my baby bump right away. I think it depends on the person and the pregnancy.

Every single pregnancy is different! My biggest belly was my second, but my third was smaller (although he was my biggest baby 9lbs6oz) i think than even my first who was my smallest baby (7lb7oz). You body just carries differently. Who knows!
