Im due in augest the 24th so 4 more months, iv been having alot of problems like my belly always hurting, sleep loss, make back, leg cramps, hip pain, my tummy feels like its going to pop at night when i want to sleep, im 21 weeks and my baby kicks 1 or 2 times a week if im lucky, i dont really have cravings at all or puking, iv been taking my prenatile pills, 3 banana a day plus i eat about 2 guacamoli a week beacuse i really dont like it but i do anyways, i drink about 4 glasses of milk plus soy milk, and yogert. iv done everything good for the baby that i can do but one problem i do have is i think i reseached everything about pregnancy and my baby and what problems there can be and im so scarid. for some reson i think that my babys gonna be disabled even tho theres no one in my whole family who is, and im younge so i shouldnt and i dont no drugs or drink. but im scarid, bad things happen to good people. its been 21 weeks almost 22 on monday and well i have a ultersound on friday of next week on the 23rd... and i just want everything to be okay. im not sure if its normal for your baby not to move that much or what it is, but im always worried and i just dont know what to do at all!

It's totally normal to stress and worry but you really shouldn't. Everything will be just fine. I am due the day before you (August 23rd) and my pregnancy seems to be almost axactly like yours. i have done all the screenings and everything (mostly just bc I like the extra pics of my baby) and so really, there is no need to read anything into anything. I never had bad sickness or cravings either. (not even with my twins last year) and I have been having the same aches and cramps. that is all just normal. Just try to relax. I know it is hard when you are between Ultrasounds bc you can think of a million different things that might go wrong. With my twins, I did everything perfectly healthy for them and they were good and with this one, well, having 14 month old twins causes me to forget a lot of important things...for instance, i probably forget to take my vitamin more often than I remember. I feel horrible about it but someimtes life just gets a little crazy but my doctor said not to stress out over it bc stress can be more harmful than forgetting the pills on occasion or eating fast food once in a while. You will see. Everything will be just fine. Just bc you are worrying does not mean that something is wrong, it just means that you are a normal pregnant woman. GL!

Your situation sounds similar to mine.
I'm due Aug 4th and when I was 20-22 weeks I had HORRIBLE leg pains, back spasms, my lower tummy hurt and my insomnia was so bad i'd be up for 22 hours a day!
I always eat, and still eat healthy, drank what i needed for baby, but it wasn't really stopping and I was scared that something was going on with me or my baby, but everything checked out just fine and things have really settled down.

I didn't start to feel my baby move until I was 23-24 weeks along, and I wish I could tell you what it feels like, but I never felt any of the "traditional" ones like butterflies or that... more like twitching, lol

but I would address ANY concerns you have to your doctor because you have every right to say to him/her what is going on and how you are feeling :)
Best of luck to you!

I had my baby girl on the 13th of August last year :)
Trust me honey, the hurting of the stomach, the cramps, back pains, hip pains and the loss of sleep is all normal! I had 'pregnancy insomnia' which happens around your stage and is very common! Sometimes you just cant sleep because your so worried about things or because of the pains.
I had chronic back and leg pains, to help this i took pain killers and i slept with a pillow between my legs, on my side with a pillow behind my back. It didnt completely take the pain away but its just a bit more comfortable.
Your lucky you haven't had any morning sickness and you seem to have a really great diet - i didn't!
I wouldn't worry too much about your baby being disabled although most mums do worry - i even did. Just relax and think positive until your ultrasound. I had my daughter at 18 so I know what its like to have a baby young too :)

I'm 21 weeks too hun & I've had a lot of the same symptoms. I've had a lot of pains since about week 8. Belly hurting could be stretching pains or gas ( I went to the hospital at 17 weeks because I was having a lot of belly pain & they told me on the maternity floor that it could be either of those). For sleep loss, I would definitely get a body pillow if you don't have one, I love them & they help me sleep & get comfortable. If that still doesn't work...you can take Tylenol PM, which will help you get more sleep (I did ok the tyenol pm with my drs office before I took it, so being pregnant, we can take it). The leg cramps are definitely normal & you could try propping your legs up on pillows & make them higher than your heart - this should help with the cramps. The hip pain may be caused by something called sciatica - unfortunately there isn't anything you can take for it, just kind of wait for it to go away - hot baths DO help tho. I've had the hip pain to the point that it shoots down into my upper thigh & the right side of my butt...it's painful, just rest - try a hot bath - and also try a heating pad, that does help too. The popping feeling you are having, I get that too...that is the baby pushing against your belly...It feels really weird. I don't remember my daughter ever doing it, but this pregnancy my son does. I certainly hope that this helps hun & you if you have further concerns I would definitely consult your doctor & see what they say. Best of luck to you & congratulations on the baby :)

Your belly is not used to being rearranged. It's normal for it to hurt, especially for the first pregnancy (mine hurts and I'm on #2). And a lot of women don't even start to feel their baby move until around 21-23 weeks. It won't be constant. At first, you'll feel him/her once every few days or so. As the weeks progress, it will quickly end up that you feel your baby move every day, then almost every hour. The baby will still have "not-so-active" days (like we all do), but that doesn't mean anything's wrong.

It's perfectly normal to worry, so I won't tell you not to. Just try to trust that everything is okay, and you'll get to see your wonderful bundle in just a few days! Good luck, I hope I helped.

All the pain is cause you are pregnant the best thing for you to do is gets lots of pillows to help you sleep. As far as the baby not moving I was freaking out about that all the time too. She has her days. I went and bought one of those baby heart monitors so I could listen to her when ever I felt scared it really helped me! Just to let you know the cheap ones form walmart dont work. But another thing you can do is when the baby isnt moving is eat something with some sugar in it or drink a glass of Oj then just lay down some where quiet for awhile, you will feel it. the baby is moving alot more than you notice some times when you are busy doing others things you don't feel it. The kicks and brushes of the hands are still very little at this point. Plus the baby moves the most when you are sleeping. As far as anything going wrong with birth defects there is nothing you can do about that when you are doing everything you need to be like no drugs or alcohol. God chooses who he feels is capable of handling the situation. I am sure you have nothing to worry about. Just take a deep breath and enjoy being pregnant! Good luck =) I am 34 weeks now with my 3rd.

aww hun.. all I'll say to you is that everyones different! I'm getting a lot of movement now but I'm about a month ahead of you... as long as you feel baby moving then surely thats a good sign. if you are that worried bring it up with your midwife...
but its just natural to be scared x
