I have been feeling our LO move around for a few weeks now (I am at 26 weeks). I have noticed that I only feel her moving below my bellybutton or to the right of my bellybutton. No movement to the left of my bellybutton. Anyone know if this is normal?

It sounds like your babe's keeping her back along your left side, so you're feeling her punching/kicking to the right side. Makes perfect sense. :)

With #1 & 2 I have only felt the kicks on the right side. Seems to be a very popular side. Maybe it's to do with the layout of everything who knows, but it's perfectly normal.

its perfectly fine. this is my second pregnancy and i feel a lot of his movements on my right side but he is mostly on my left. so don't worry about it the fact that you are feeling movement is all that should matter.

Thanks so much everyone. As you probably guess this little girl is our first so everything in this pregnancy is new to me. :-) Thanks again!

I also only have movement on the right side...every now and then when she is active i feel her around my belly button but normally I feel her feet in my right side and closer to my back and hands in my right side of my pelvis... she has been like this for weeks and I 30 weeks...

Your baby probably just prefers to be on that side. In my case my uterus leans to my left side and that's where I feel most of my baby's movement. My other kids each had their own preferences on where they liked to be, so I wouldn't worry too hard about it.

I mostly feel my daughter move on the right side. My doctor said it could be that the placenta is on the left dulling the feeling of her moving or it could be that she prefers the right side. But I guess this is normal.

Idk if this helps any but im 37 weeks almost 38 and my baby girl is persistently sitting on my right side. idk why she likes that side so much or just has to be over there i can try and shift her bc its uncomfortable for me but she just moves back llol

where you feel the movement will also depend on where the placenta is attached in your uterus

with my first pregnancy, my daughter found a comfy spot, head down, along the right side of my tummy at 20 weeks and never left that spot until she was delivered via c-section at 41 weeks (She was posterior and not progressing after 22.5 hrs of labor). She kicked my left side the ENTIRE pregnancy...never once did I feel a kick on my right side since that was her little "nook". My current pregnancy (a boy) is crazy though - he is all over my tummy, even now at 37 weeks! Luckily he is staying head down, but he flips from one side to the other all the time.

I have been feeling the same thing most of my pregnancy (35 wks now) and everything is fine with us. It's all in the way your baby is laying is there!!! As long as she is moving try not to worry too much, mention it to your doctor at your next appointment just so they know what is going on but everything should be fine.
