When I was pregnant with my daughter (who is now 5), my feet gave me massive problems. I had really bad swelling & now...with this pregnancy (i'm 23/24 weeks), I am starting to get massive swelling as well. Take a bath will help. You could also try soaking your feet in warm water with epsom salt. That will help as well. Try propping your feet up higher than your head for a little while, that too should help. It's definitely rough having swelling really bad when you're pregnant. I hope things get better for you & I hope that this helps you out. Best of luck!

My feet got like that when I was working more hours at about the same amount of weeks as you. I tried everything as well. Make sure you are not eating foods high in salt (sodium). ANY frozen foods, already prepared foods, canned goods, lots of boxed foods, etc. Anything all put together that you just have to cook is always high in sodium due to the preservatives in it. Make fully fresh and home cooked meals! No canned nothing, no frozen foods. I hope this helps.

I had swelling so bad with my first that I couldn't even wear shoes at the end. I had one pair of sandals that I could barely squeeze in to and they would leave deep imprints in my feet where the straps were. It did not start to go away until a week after my baby was born. It made them feel better to soak them in cool water and then prop them up on a pillow. It's a good excuse to stay off your feet and just relax! Take it easy and remember that it's only temporary!

I'm right there with you! The top of my feet have already started getting a wrinkled appearance due to the swelling and have gone a funny mottled purple colour! I've found that keeping my feet elevated and wrapping them in a cold, wet cloth helps the swelling - it allows my toes to actually touch the ground! Being in the beginning of Summer is not helping me either! I feel like a surprised "Puffer fish"!

Good luck, let me know if the cold compress works for you as well as it's working for me!
