This is bub 4 for me, with all mine i carried low. And this bub is just the same. I'm 21 weeks, and feeling the pressure she is putting on my pelvis. Feels like some days, someone has hit my pelvic bone with a hammer. Lifting my leg to dry them after getting out of the shower some days is very challenging.
I'm having a girl.

My first was a boy and I carried him high. He totally brused my ribs. Now I'm having a girl and I'm carrying her very low. I can't wait to start buying her pink. The hospital sent me home with a CD with pictures and videos. One of the videos shows her sucking her thumb. What a memory to have on CD. I just love it!!!

I am having baby no. 3 which is a boy. Both my boys I carried high and out front so from behind I didn't look pregnant even in the later stages. My daughter I carried all across the middle and around the sides. With this pregnancy I've had perople tell me I'm have a girl, well it's definitly not a girl so I honestly don't think there is a way of telling.

I'm having a girl and I'm carrying low! A good friend of mine had a little girl in December and she was low too :]] If you go to Parents.com there is this "Ancient Chinese Calculator" thing that asks you a couple of questions and tells you if your having a girl or boy. Those things of corse are just for fun, but I did it after I already knew I was having a girl, and it said I was having a girl, so it worked for me!

I find out what I'm having in 2 hours! I am carrying higher than I did with my daughter, and more in the middle this time, whereas with my daughter I kind of carried all around my midsection.

I'm pregnant with my first child and carrying extremely low. I'm due in two weeks with my son, he's been head down for over a month and he loves to tuck himself right under my hips, I can barely walk these days! I suppose there is some truth to the old wives tale of carrying high for girls and low for boys. Congratulations and good luck to you!

I dont really believe in wives tales because I am carrying really low and i am having a boy. In all the ultra sounds they say he sits really low so dont let that guide you one way or the other ;) It was hard for me as well to wait to find out what i was having too lol all you can do is go day by day even though its killing you! i'm having a little boy and he is really low. When they did an ultrasound his head was so low and everytime they got a picture of the cervix they got a nice glimpse of baby too haha. everyone guessed it was a boy since i am carrying so low!

i am having a boy and am carrying in the middle! 4 weeks will fly by for you... they did for me anyways! hearing everyones experience with how they carried their kids is fun but i wouldn't put any merit into it! i felt i was having a boy and was correct... if anything i would go by your gut instinct until you have an ultrasound!

With my son i carried in the middle, and with my girl that i am carrying now i carried high, but i am due in 2 1/2 weeks and i'm low now. I had a gut feeling with both of my children what the sex was and i was right...

I am having a girl and she is sitting low. I was also told that if the heart rate is really fast its a girl if its a little slower its a boy, for me this did work.

Don't know what I'm having yet, and still have quite a ways to go before I find out. Won't be finding out til atleast late July or early August. I'm carrying this little one quite high as i did with my second daughter who passed in '05 at 18 weeks and am showing already at almost 12 weeks. I already have a little boy so I'm hoping for a girl. My fiance is leaning toward a boy but doesn't seem to care since this is his first.

I'm having a little girl. Carrying pretty much right in the middle. She is right out front to block everyone from hugging me. All belly but it's okay cuz at 27 weeks I'm ready to get big. I'vwe been small during this pregnancy. But I just had twins last year and my dr said it's prbably just the weight I didnt lose from them shifting into new baby weight. Was hoping for a boy but glad now for our little Annabelle. (My twins are boy and girl (Nicholas and Aubree) so it really didnt matter that much either way) Well GL and congratulations!

Great question! I am on #3 and we found out yesterday she's a girl. With my first, a girl, I carried pretty high, but she was breech so she never dropped just sat up in my ribs the whole time. #2 was a boy and i carried pretty low same thing couldn't hardly walk the last couple months he was so low. #3 is riding pretty low but we found out yesterday that the placenta implanted on the front of my uterus so that explains a lot. BTW 4 weeks isn't all that long....flew by for me.

my 1st was a girl and she was in the middle and i got huge with her.

my second is due in two days, ive carried her very low this whole pregnancy...people have tried to guess the sex and always say boy but ive had a couple of scans now say she is a girl. im also much smaller bump and weight gain this time.

With my son, I carried ALL over... literally, there was not one part of my body that did NOT almost/at least triple in size! With this one (told it is a girl), I look like I'm trying to smother a beach ball right in the middle of my body.

I've had one little boy and one little girl. With this one, I found out that I am having a little boy. I am carrying around the middle and my tummy is looking a lot like a basketball. He does like to lay low in the uterus though because the u/s tech had a hard time getting good pix of his face.

I'm on my second, and I'm told it's a girl. I'm carrying very high- she's up in my ribs a lot. With my son, I carried really low, but no one ever told me he was too low or anything. Of the two, I much prefer to carry low, though I imagine for a repeat pregnancy that might be just as uncomfortable (with hip pain and such) as having a baby up in your ribs.

Ive got three boys and im expecting number four in august. My first was low, second in the middle, my third was so low i could barely walk the last 10 weeks this one seems to be sticking to a middlish area at the moment.

I am having a boy and he is super low!!! haha they can barely take u/s of him because he is so low in my pelvis that they can't get good pictures of his head!
