How can I cause dialation faster?

Honestly your lucky the day i went into labor i wasnt even dilated at all and by the next night i had my daughter so you never know it could happen at any moment and she was a mnth early so u never know i was in labor for 33 and a half hrs but it didnt seenm that long or was extremely painful

I also have heard that walking helps but if walking has not helped then i have heard sex is more affective! So give both a try! Good luck!

I was at my last doctor appt, and she checked me. I was 0,0. Then 6 days later my water broke and I was 1.5 cm, and 70% effaced. And I had my son that night. So it could be anyday for you. Goodluck!

no im still waiting lol but im 4 dialated now and lost my mucus plug for the most part and still 90% effaced... he just needs to stop being stubborn...lol still having contractions but they arent anything yet... well see hopefully soon i want to meet him....

i ended up with contractions in the hospital yesterday and they were going pretty good but then they became irregualr and they told me i wasnt dialating enough so the sent me home without stopping contractions or anything and im in pain .. they said if things changed i was suppose to come back in but its stayed the same since then... i just want to move it along its getting ridiculous..

to do it naturally, keep up right, let the baby's body weight work for you. Squat, helps to.

I had the same problem when I had my daughter. They gave me 7 hours to get things going naturally, but it didn't happen, so they just put me on the oxytocin at the hospital and that was that. My water had already broken for 11 hours by that point though. All I can say is it'll happen when it's meant to happen!

sex. sperm has Pitocin in it which is what they give you in the hospital to induce you. it worked both times for us.

It will come when its ready or you can be induced, lol Im sorry, but itried everything. Walking, eating fresh pineapples, sex, more walking. I refused to do castor oil, becuase its gross and makes you have the dumps and is not guaranteed to work anyway. But I ended up getting induce this monday and I am happy for it. He was nine days over due, I had time for my epidural and I was only in labor for 4 hours, pushed for an hour and was in recovery with my little man by 11:17 am!!

1-2 evening primrose oil capsules inserted into the cervix....i've heard that works but havent tried it myself.

I hear sex, and having him finish in you works but i did not try it, i tried everything else and nothing worked, baby will come when he or she is ready, i was 3 days overdue. Good Luck, and it will happen soon, rest up youll need it!
