I am 33 weekz pregnant and my baby has dropped. Atleast, I'm pretty sure she has cuz she has never sat this low before. I dont kno if the baby can drop too early or anything. This is my first pregnancy so all i kno is what ive been thru and what ppl have told me.

Well, now i'm not sure if i've dropped or not. I went to the dr on tuesday and she said that my stomach is swollen, so i'm not sure if itz just the swelling or if ive dropped and swollen. I go bak tomorrow to see if i will have to stay in the hospital cuz they were talking about maybe having to do an early delivery so they wanna give her a little more time to develope.

This is my first baby and I dropped at 32 weeks.
Until then, I carried extremely high and now I'm pretty low.
I'm 34 weeks now and really, I haven't noticed much difference in how I still do day-to-day activities even though I've dropped low.

From what my doctor has said to me, this is of little concern to her and there's no need to worry if you drop between 31-34 weeks.
Only if you start getting contractions/braxton hicks, leaking fluid frequently etc.. but our bodies are pretty good at letting us know if something is wrong or needs attention.

Baby can drop any time after 30 weeks and stay dropped but until about 35 weeks, can still turn back over if they want but will usually stay head-down once they get head-down and it's after 30 weeks.

It is not uncommon for a baby to lower into the pelvis that early on . The more important thing is if you are dialating , and effacing . As long as neither are happening you should be ok .
It is also not uncommon for a baby to change how low they are from day to day .
If you have any concerns talk to your Dr about it and have them check . ESPECIALLY if you are having possible contractions , appear to be losing your mucus plug or leaking any of your water .
I recall with some of mine they settled pretty low in my 3rd trimester, once they found a comfy position. Comfy for them , but not so much for me !
Good luck !

I honestly cant remember when my first dropped but I remember thinking it was FOREVER before I went into labor. My second I think I was about 35 weeks. I would ask your dr but I dont really think you can drop to early if your not shwing any signs of preterm labor. Sounds like the babies way of getting even a little bit more room.

I honestly do not remember dropping with my first baby! But with this one I have carried high and low throughout the entire pregnancy! I am 36 weeks and just had the whole enlightenment feeling yesterday where I didnt even feel pregnant anymore! I ahve been told that with your second baby you probably wont even drop until labor! The main thing is to ask your doctor and make sure everything is okay! Do not be afraid to tell him things or even to have him check you to make sure you are not dialated! Alot of first time mothers go early but 33 weeks is still a bit too early if you ask me! Be sure to tell him other things that happen as well, like Braxtion hicks or pain anywhere in your body! Otherwise just sit back and relax and try to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!
