I would say atleast have them before you are 32-33 weeks because you never know if you are going to go early or have to go early. I had 2 showers one at 34 weeks and one at 35 weeks, and they delivered me a week later at 36 weeks due to preeclamsia. So don't wait to long.

im due april 30th and I had my baby shower on Jan. 23rd. because I wanted to have it before my husband gets home from afghanistan.. so honestly anytime that is good for you. It's your baby and your choice.. if your finding out Gender then I do say wait atleast till you know for sure what your having..lol Good Luck mama :) and congrats!

alot of people (including me) think its bad luck to have the baby shower before the baby is born. I am planning on having mine 2 weeks after the baby is born.

i am due may 27 and my sister and mom are throwing me my baby shower march 6. it might be a little early but i think anytime is good...depends on how soon u want to make sure everything is ready and u have everything before ur baby is born. this is my first as well and im so anxious that having it early is good for me cuz i can be paranoid to make sure i have everything and that it is set up exactly how i want it before he comes. and i love rearranging and i kno im going to have to do it a couple times til everything is perfect lol good luck!!! =)

I have thrown showers for my friends and family members at between 30 and 34 weeks. However one of the new trends is to throw the shower after the baby is born. This way your friends and family have an opportunity to meet the new addition as well as congratulate you on your new adventure into motherhood.

Congratulations. I had two showers. My family one was about 2 months before and my work was 2 weeks before my son was born. Which was great because it gave my time the last weekend before my due date to get the rest of the stuff we needed. I would suggest over the next couple months working on your baby registry so you know what the room will be like and color/themes you want. Have a blessed pregnancy.

I would do it about 2 months before just incase you was to go into labor early or something like that. Also, your gonna want everything put away nice and neat before you go home with your baby for the first time. But truly its all up to you. I think anywhere from 5 mnths and up is fine.

Whenever you feel like it. Some people like to have theirs early, some late, and there are other who like to wait until baby is born before they even think about having it. I had mine at about 20 weeks.. where as my dad and mom had theirs for me after i was born. It's totally up t you and when you feel comfortable having it

I think is really up to what you want. I didn't have my Baby shower till after my daughter was born and I am planning on doing it that way again when I have my baby in July.

I would just judge it how it fits yoru schedule. It is good to do it a little ahead so you can get things situated with the stuff you needed. I am having mine at 36 weeks. I don't think I am going to have her early. I was late with my last and so far things are going as planned no medical issues that has risen to think otherwise but hey you never really know. It does take some time to plan it though so give yourself enough planning time too so it doesn't get overwhelming.

From what I have heard you can do it at an time, it's best to wait until the end of your pregnancy. I am a little behind with mine, I will be 30 weeks on Tuesday and we are just now starting to plan it!! Get registered and figure out who is going to plan the shower once you figure out what your having because it will give you plenty of time to make sure you have the day you want.

hey there... congratulations! people generally have them two months before bub is due... but it all depends when the time is right for you. I live away from famiy and friends so while I was back home for christmas I had m baby shower then... My bestfriend where I live has planned another one for next weekend, for all our friends to come here. I am due on the 4th of June...

I hope that helps or at least gives you a rough guide...there are alot of websites that help to organise a baby shower as well... just google planning a baby shower
