I live in a two bedroom apartment, and have a two year old daughter. So when the baby arrives the children will have to share a room. I was wondering when the best time would be to bring the crib in and start decorating the baby's half of the room. (we hopfully find out what we are having two fridays from now, and are going to decorate in a theme that I know my daughter loves, plus itll match her side of the room) Thank you for all your thoughts and opinions =-)

i agree...i think you should do it whenever you are ready. we find out what we are having in about 2 weeks and after that i'm going all out. we have already found a ton of stuff we like and a theme for the nursery so we kinda already started, we just need to start buying and setting up once we know boy or girl.

lol thank you for your responses, it has been so hard to wait. I already have so much stuff for the baby, I just wasnt sure quiet when to do it since I have a two year old that would have to be sharing a room. Granted she is two, so im guessing she is not going to hugely care (and she is excited for the baby) i just wasnt sure if I decorated early if it would make a differnce in the transition to being a big sister. I think I may start doing some stuff =-)

We were planning for our 3rd pregnancy and i found such a nice crib i had to get it, that was before we even tried to conceive! lol
But we have a spare room so it didn't make a difference. I'm 16 weeks now and i already decorated some stuff but i'm waiting another 2 weeks to fully start which is when we will find out what we're having.

I'd say when your comfortable. About a month or two before I'm due we'll probably set up the crib, and try to help our son adjust to the idea.
