I know that when you get pregnant your body makes extra blood and other stuff for the baby therefore increasing the amount of fluid you urinate. However, I have to go sometimes 2 to 3 times in one hour. Plus when I go sometimes I get sharp pains in my lower abdomen and my back has been aching for a couple days. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Your so welcome Samone. Ever since I was little, I have been prone to bladder infections so the symptoms are all too familar and I know how much they are not fun! Hope you feel better soon!

Its usual, the weight of uterus increases and it gives pressure to the Bladder. So its natural to urinate frequently. Dont worry, think positive and be happy. Good Luck

Just because majority of woman's uterus' move up (and in turn off the bladder) in the start of the 2nd trimester, doesn't mean it's always the case. I think it also depends on how much you are drinking.
The sharp pains might indicate a bladder infection though so I would make a trip to the doctor. Better safe than sorry.
