I am not skinny I was 215 give or take before I got pregnet and now I am around 230lbs. I cant get a sonagram until i am 20 weeks along and it scares me that if i am having more than one no one will know for another two months. Or that something could be wrong. is it normal that I am this large This is my second pregnacy. I have a daughter is almost 6.

Everyone is different. I am 22 weeks and I look like I'm due any day now. I was 105lbs when I first found out I'm pregnant and now I'm 145. So, I gained 40lbs in just 18 weeks.

It depends on a lot of things. Body structure, uterus, maybe you're having more than one...

I picked up 10lbs in a matter of 1.5 months. That was easily explained by the fact that I'm pregnant w/ triplets.

Besides, you may be gaining a lot of weight now, but it may slow or even out to 1-1.5 lbs per week. If it's really bothering you, make an appt to see your doctor for reassurance.

The 2nd time around your body is already used to it, and they say you look more pregnant than you are cause you are more bloated than your first time.

I agree with what a lot of people said in regards to your situation. This was my first I was thin to begin with (110 lbs) and athletic so my abdominal muscles held in my expanding uterus. Even though I gained 5 pounds in the time it took me to pee on a stick, and another 5 practically just as quick, I didn't show very soon and at four months I still could have passed as a college freshman who just drank a lot of beer the night before.

If this is your second your abdominal muscles have already "learned" the routine and stretch and relax sooner so your baby is free to "stick out" sooner and you'll "show" sooner. Additionally, if your abdominal muscles weren't too toned to begin with, you can also show earlier.

Also, some women carry towards their backs, some carry more outwards. I'm almost 9 months and a whopping 40 pounds heavier and I still look like I could be 6 or 7 months because I'm carrying towards my back (and up in my freaking rib cage!!!!!) instead of more outward.

Everyone is different. If you are having twins try not to worry about it until you know for sure. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, take your prenatal vitamines and avoid the fatty calorie-rich foods that are void of nutrients and give you heartburn and I'm sure your ultrasound will go fine.

yeah I was 103 before I knew and they weighed me last week and now I'm 107 pounds. But twins run in my family like 3 times, and I know with my last child I had weird dreams all the time, and for 2 months now I've been dreaming I'm having twin boys..

I hear ya. My first pregnancy I barely showed. I actually lost 20 lbs int he first 5 months because of how much I changed mey diet when I found out I was pregnant. Than I put 19 pounds back on the last 2 and a half months. (I was a globe by the delivery date!)

On this second pregnancy, I swear I started showin within 1 week. That is how I wondered if my birth control failed. Within 2 weeks of my "conception" I felt my belly "pop" out. Just a lil but it was noticeable lol. Now youwould swear I am at least 6 months along and I'm just now about 20 weeks. I haven't gained too much weight (2 lbs) in the last month or so but my belly has actually expanded by 2 full centimeters! it is craziness!!

this is my 1st pregnancy and i look alot farther than i am! but i wasn't "skinny" to begin with so now that my baby is bigger its pushing everything else out and making me look farther than i am! but i am just happy that i look pregnant because some "bigger" women don't even look pregnant because they were bigger to begin with! don't freak out if your doctor isn't worried you shouldn't be either!

This is my first pregnancy (5 months right now) and I had people asking me if I was 4-5 months along when I was only 2 months along! I think if this continues by my due date I won't be able to stand up without going face first into the ground lol.

I am 14 weeks right now and this is my 2nd pregnancy, I have been showing since like month number 1. I am 4 months now and I look like I could be about 6/7 months pregnant already.

katie is right about that i've shown earlier with each of mine and always looked further than i am. try not to stress too much about it your sonagram will come round quick enough and put your mind at rest
