My best friend is highly pregnant. The baby is due in about three weeks and I really want to find a great gift for her? I found this company online: https://www.kinderstuff.us/organic-baby-clothes-store.html. I think they have really cute stuff. Everything is also produced in Germany and the U.S. and is organic. Which items should I pick? In addition, what else would be a great present for a soon to be mother? I'd really appreciate your honest feedback

These are the exact baskets Erin used for everything...
Large: http://tgt.biz/16mZ0ec
Small: http://tgt.biz/14b2gp0
I love that she used these, because they're something I can use again! You can definitely find these cheaper, elsewhere. I believe these are the ones she already had and wasn't using. I also got alot of gift baskets that used laundry baskets which is pretty awesome, too.

Her 'theme' was "Essentials for the First Year" and it was so perfect! The idea is that I'll (hopefully) have everything I need for my first year as a new mommy. She said most of these things can be purchased at:
- Walmart including a lot of site-to-store.
- Target
- Buy Buy Baby
- eBay; she said there are a lot of brand new baby items since most people receive duplicate items or things they can't return...so they resell online. She sent me the prices for these things.
I'm including the online prices just to give you a general idea, but I find things are typically cheaper in stores.

I know that this is a LOT. She really went above and beyond for me and I would've been happy with just a portion of these things! I asked her what her must-haves out of all of this would be...and they have a '*' by them.

In the large basket was everything for baby:
1. Health
- Little Remedies, Little Tummys, Gas Relief Drops, $7.97, Walmart*
- Little Remedies, Little Fevers, Infant Fever & Pain Reliever, $5.24, Walmart*
- Little Remedies, Little Tummys Gripe Water (great for colic!), $8.62, Walmart
- Little Remedies, Little Noses, Saline Nasal Mist, $4.97, Walmart
- Desitin Diaper Rash Ointment, Max Strength, $3.47, Walmart*
- Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Cleanser, $2.98, Walmart*

2. Diapering
- Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive, Size 1 (36 Count), $9.49, Target*
- Pampers Natural Clean Wipes, Travel Pack, $1.72, Walmart*
- Playtex Diaper Genie, Portable Bag Dispenser, $3.74, Target*
- Playtex Diaper Genie, Portable Bag Dispenser Refills, $2.99, Target*
- Sassy Disposable Diaper Sacks (75 Count), $3.49, Buy Buy Baby
**She said she used the Diaper Genie bags on-the-go and kept the Sassy bags at home because she does not use a Diaper Genie and throws the diapers away in her trashcan.
- Jonathan Adler for SKIP*HOP Pronto Diaper Changing Station, $34.99, Buy Buy Baby*
**I'm super excited for this and so is my husband! He loves that he'll most likely be able to use this instead of lugging around the big ol' diaper bag.

3. Bottle Feeding
- Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Starter Set, $29.99, Target
**She got this set brand new on eBay for a steal at $13.
- Tommee Tippee Medium Flow Nipples (2 Pack), $5.99, Target
- Tommee Tippee Fast Flow Nipples (2 Pack), $5.99, Target
- Tommee Tippee Pacifiers (2 Pack), $5.99, Target
- Tommee Tippee Pacifier Holders (2 Pack), $6.49, Target
**She said to get the same brand nipples for whatever bottles you get so not to confuse the baby!
- Munchkin Bottle & Nipple Brush (2 Pack), $3.99, Target*

4. Solid Feeding
- Infantino Squeeze Pouches (50 Count), $16.98, Walmart
- Plum Baby by Boon Dispensing Spoons (2 Pack), $3.99, Buy Buy Baby
- Boon Baby Food Dispensing Spoon, $7.99, Buy Buy Baby*
- Munchkin Infant & Toddler Feeding Set, $13.06, Walmart*

5. Bath
- Johnson's Moisture Care Baby Wash, $4.99, Target*

- Johnson's Baby Lotion with Shea & Cocoa Butter, $4.99, Target*
- Carter's Hooded Towel Set (2-Pack), $11.99, Target*
- Carter's Hooded Robe, $10.99, Target
- Carter's Washcloths (6-Pack), $6.99, Target*
- Safety 1st Deluxe Grooming Kit, $19.49, Target*

6. Clothing & Linens
- Circo Bodysuits (3 Pack), $6.99, Target*
- Carter's Sleeper, $7.99, Target
- Circo Newborn Gown (2 Pack), $8.99, Target*
- Gerber Mittens (3 Pack), $4.99, Target*
- Circo Hat & Sock Set (2 Pack), $6.99, Target
- aden + anais Swaddle Blankets (4 Pack), $34.99, Buy Buy Baby*
**These are a little pricey...but I saw them being so versatile I actually bought another pack myself. I found mine new on eBay for $12.55
- Carter's Soft Reversible Blanket, $19.99, Target
- Carter's Flannel Receiving Blankets (4-Pack), $11.99, Target*

And in the small basket, she thought to include things for me which was a super thoughtful surprise! Alot of this was for my hospital bag which is perfect because I had NO idea what I should bring...and that's not a good thing for someone who usually over-packs.

I really love the 'Pop Eddy' bodysuit from the site...how stinkin' cute! I want the grey w/ pink bear for mine. ;-)

I just had my baby shower 2 weeks ago and the best gift I got was a basket of essentials from a good friend of mine. She's a mom of 3 and filled the basket with her favorite items (from her experience) and even took the time to write down why she loved each product. It was seriously the most helpful thing I could've received, considering I'm a new mom! If you'd like a list of the things she got, I could list them for you.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

Wow, thanks Courtney!
That's absolutely amazing...

I will use some of the items you received for sure! See, that's the kind of girlfriend I want to be as well. :)

Thanks again and all the best for the future!

Thanks so much for your help!

Yes, I like the Pop Eddies, too. I also think the Stella shirt is really cute! I checked out their Fb-page and they are currently running a giveaway: http://bit.ly/WJzSd9. I just signed up. I'm usually not very lucky, but you never know, right ;)

It would be awesome if you could send me the list with the items you got. That's a fantastic idea... I would have appreciated a basket like that big time. See, that's why I posted this thread here. People have so many great ideas I would never think about.

Thanks so much.
