im 25 weeks and 4 days. im the same way. my doctor said that i was fine. i dont go to sleep untill about 3 or 4 in the morning. and i dont wake up till around 3 or 4 in the afternoon the next day. i usually stay in the house. i hate shopping now because i cant stand for long periods of time because my back starts to hurt and it feels like im gonna pass out. but i think that its just a fase. hopefully when you get further along it will go away..

my OBGYN has checked everything possible he thinks that it may be caused my new sleep pattern as my 2.5 year old has started sleeping though the night so now he wants me to reduce cups of tea and hot chocolate around 7.30 - 8pm so w'll see how we go

Have your thyroid checked. I was like that and found out that it's hypothyroidism. It's nothing to worry about (unless it goes untreated). They just put you on a perscription that has no side effects except easier weight control and more energy.

Don't sleep as much, sometimes sleeing makes you more tired. My daughter was born in Feb '09 and it's Dec 8th, '09 and I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my second. I think I was much more tired with my first because I slept whenever I felt tired, 4 or 5 hour periods during the day, 14 hour nights., but I slept 3-5 hours at a time while first pregnant (exhausted) because my daughter was 4 months old and I was still breastfeeding. But she started sleeping through the night when I started bottle feeding around her 6 month old pd. and I was barely 3 months pregnant. ANYWAY, my point is that I slept less and I feel like I had more energy

I ate a lot of fruit and it gave me the energy that I needed to get through the day. Don't know if it will help you or not but fruits are always good to have on the go and just an extra boost.

I would talk to your doctor. My sleepiness/tiredness didn't wear off this time around until almost the 20 week mark (I am expecting my second). I am not sure if it was because my 17 month old keeps me so busy or what...I was EXHAUSTED for the first half of this pregnancy. I did talk to my doc about it and she wanted me to let her know if it didn't clear up by 20 weeks bc she would want to do some more tests. She said it was probably just all the hormones that exhaust you in the first trimester combined with the stress of being a mom to a toddler. Good luck!
