I KNOW ALL THE BENEFITS OF BREASTFEEDING AND WISH NOT DO SO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I'M 20 YEARS OLD AND 2 DAYS SHY OF BEING 39 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH MY THIRD SON. I DO NOT UTILIZE WIC BECAUSE SIMILAC UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES IS NOT FOR MY CHILDREN INSTEAD I PURCHASE THE ENFAMIL FAMILY OF FORMULAS WHICH IS ONLY 8.50 FOR ME AT THE LOCAL RESALE SHOP SO I WANT TO KNOW IF ITS POSSIBLE FOR ME TO SAFELY BEGIN DRYING UP MY MILK SUPPLY SINCE THEY NO LONGER PROVIDE THE MEDICATION TO DO SO.

If your worried about engorgement then it is simple to treat without medication. Buy a dark green cabbage and store it in the fridge. After delivery when your milk comes in place a cold cabbage leaf in your bra and it will take the pain away. Your milk will dry up on its own. It only takes a couple of days to sort its self out. You may not even get any milk. With my first I did but with my other two children I never.

It is not safe to mess with any sort of drug whilst you are still pregnant. Let mother nature take her path.
