I'm going into my 6th week of pregnancy and I have to say that I haven't experienced that much morning sickness. Should I be worried? When I had my first child I had to take a special prenatal vitamin because I couldn't keep anything down. But with this child, i'm just hungry a little more then normal and sometimes if I eat too much or i'm around fish then I feel a little nauseated. Anyone else having this issue?

no you shouldnt be worried some women dont experience it at all. Also your sense of smell will chnge things that you are used to being around you not be able to stand now. When i was pregnant i didnt have morning sickness but my boyfriend did weird i know i guess thats why they say they go through it with you lol

My sister is that way with her pregnancies. She never felt sick, she just wasn't as hungry. Me, ha, morning sickness, more like 24/7 sickness. I'm only 9 weeks and have lost over 10 lbs. With my daughter I was sick until they gave me anti nausea meds at 30 weeks.

Everyone is different! My mum, when she was pregnant with me, was sick every day of her pregnancy, couldnt keep anything down, and weighed less at the end, than she did at the beginning. With both my kiddies, I felt a bit nauseas but i only threw up once with my first. Not at all with my second. I was one of the lucky ones =] xx

Im having a lil girl this time tho so i think it does have to do with the sex to be completely honest with u. I wouldnt about worry not having morning sickness enjoy it! lol

With my first pregnancy i had a boy and i had two days of morning sickness. But i didnt actually throw up. This time around i had morning sickness even before i found out i was pregnant. They gave me nausea meds and if that didnt work, they wanted to admit me to the hospital. Luckily the medicine helped and i didnt have to go to the hospital. But my body recognizes when i dont need the medicine anymore. It makes me sick. So now i dont need it but i get nauseous every now and then. I am getting very bad motion sickness. Everytime we take a drive in the car, i always feel sick. This pregnancy i have lost weight and maybe gained 5 lbs and i am 13 weeks pregnant. I dont even look pregnant. I just look like myself after i had my first one with the baby fat.

I had twins and never had morning sickness. I read that having twins your symptoms are more pronouced than a singleton. But....the only symptoms i had were dizziness and elevated temperature. Aside from the feeling of just "knowing" I was pregnant, I had no other obvious symptoms.

Most don't get morning sickness until 7-11 weeks pregnant. I was very blessed and didn't have morning sickness at all, though I have to deal with hypoglycemia acting up during pregnancy, which can be almost as bad at times. It isn't a must, but you haven't reached the mark when most women start getting sick.

Absolutely not. I never had morning sickness at all, I had instead lots of evening nauseousness/tummy upset and heartburn that eventually sent me to the doctor for a prescription. That kept up for almost the whole term. Everyone has a different reaction to the new hormones in their body. You might still get sick yet as things progress! For now just enjoy feeling good! :)

With my first, I didnt get sick until after 12-14 weeks. Then it hit me hard for about 4 months straight. Then it just up and dissapeared.
Second time around, I was kind of sick from around 10 weeks, again for about 4 months. But it was the kind of "I think I might throw up, but I cant" sick that drives you insane. I did have to quit my job (that I had JUST gotten so still on probation) at mcdonalds (I was 18) because the smell of the fries was what usually set me off. Second time around I just generally felt like crap from waking up to going to bed.

Every Birth is different. Are you taking iron pills, if so are you taking it correctly. That causes sickness. Other than that, it's an issue you should talk with your doctor to help. But like I said, every pregnancy is different.

I dont think its got anything to do with the sex of the baby either. I had one girl, one boy. was only sick with my girl once. x

I never had morning sickness with my son. i am now 5-6weeks pregnant with my second baby and am slowly starting to nauseas in the morning and at night not all women get it. i dont think its anything to be too worried about! think of yourself as lucky lol

In my first pregnancy I had nausea from about 5 weeks (before I knew I was pregnant) which continued until almost 30 weeks then I had a few weeks off and the nausea started again (although in hindsight I think that was the affects of my pre-e not morning sickness). But while I had a lot of nausea I was only actually sick 4 times.

This time round I was again suffering nausea from about 5 weeks (again before I knew I was pregnant) it continues until I was about 16 weeks - but I was sick pretty much every day from 8 weeks pregnant.

Pregnancy #1 was sick from 3-6wks, miscarried at 10wks....Pregnancy #2, no sickness at all, but starving the whole pregnancy, he's 17mths old....Pregnancy #3 sick every day up to about 16wks, then from about 31-36wks,barely any sort of increased hunger at all, baby due tomorrow.
So for me I think it's pot luck whether or not I get 'morning' sickness.

I had no morning sickness at all with either of my sons I felt fine. But, with my daughter boy I was ill, sick every day until 22 weeks. I presume it was to do with the sex of the baby for me. Boys healthy girl sick!

With my first pregnancy I had ZERO morning sickness. I honestly told people that I thought morning sickness was all in their head.

With my 2nd pregnancy I had very limited morning sickness (never got physically sick) and it only lasted from 6-12 weeks.

With my 3rd pregnancy I was sick on the sofa feeling like I was going to die from about 4 weeks-12 weeks. I'm 15 weeks now and as long as I eat, I'm alright, but I still have waves of nausea. This pregnancy I've already lost 10lbs and I honestly didn't have that much to lose.

So, yeah, every pregnancy really is different.

i didnt get sick at all with my first i didnt even get nausiated, it was awesome but i gained so much weight it was crazy...lol with this one i felt sick at times but i only ever got sick once and that was because of a prenatal vitamin i took on an empty stomach....i still think the only reason i felt nausiated this time around was because of the vitamins because it always seemed like after i took those things i felt like crap. i have to consider myself pretty .lucky because i really never had to go through the whole "morning sickness" thing.
