I'm 23 weeks pregnant with my first child, a baby girl. I was just looking for some information on the discomforts at this time in the pregnancy. What I might or should be experiencing and what I will experience. Also, I've been feeling movement everyday from her, is that abnormal?

aww lol movement is A VERY VERY GOOD THING she needs to move EVERDAY. Sometimes you wont feel it becuase she may be facing another way, or you may have an anterior placenta and that means that your palcenta is between your uterus and stomach instead of being behind it. I am 32 weeks and and this is my first lil one too, a boy! Well lets see, you'll start getting round a lot faster and weird crazy dreams.

go to Babycenter.com and open an account. it will show you week-by-week how the baby is growing and how your body is changing.
Congratulations!

I'm about 31weeks with my first (girl too) It took me a while to feel movement from my lil peanut..now she wont stop kicking and punching me lol..only discomfort I have is when I try to go to sleep..I hate sleeping on my back but my little one wont let me sleep on my sides very long. Other than that, her kicking me right now in the ribs is kind of annoying but its not paintful or anything. But at about 23weeks I dont think I had any discomforts..I started getting heart burn that was prob the worst but it has pretty much calmed down I would just make sure I hate a few more smaller meals a day..seemed to get more heartburn when I didn't eat enough. Hope that helps!

I just gave birth to my first child 11 days ago, also a girl. movement is very good at this point. When your like 34 weeks she'll slow down, and a nice cold glass of water or something with a little sugar will get her moving again. I agree with Krysta the baby centers weekly emails are wonderful. If you have any questions just feel free to message me.

I'm pregnant with my second child, currently 29 weeks. This baby moves way more than my first. Enjoy the movements, trust me, you will miss it when baby comes. With my first baby, because she didn't move as much, i found that orange pop would alway perk her up. It's a matter of paying attention to what gets your baby moving, so you can try it before getting too worried and heading to the doc.

I've loved the "What to Expect When Your are Expecting" book for all three of my pregnancies. It breaks everything down by month (weeks W to Z) and covers a load of stuff I hadn't thought to even ask about. I also really like the FitPregnancy wbsite, they have some really need tools, blogs, etc.

On the movement, that is great that you are feeling her move and everyday. Don't be alarmed if it seems like you don't feel her one day. You may have just been super active and too busy to notice much. Just drink something cool to cold, sugary somethings can sometimes help but don't get reliant on them for this, and be still for a while. Call if it's been more than a day or two. You can always talk to your doc about fetal movement counts and any other questions you have. I've had to make lists that I take in, but your brain is probably still funcctioning mostly normal. Yes, pregnant brain is real and does happen.

congrats and good luck.

are you registered on an online website for pregnancy and kids? try babycenter.com they are great!
but yes that is very normal, you should be feeling your baby move everyday..and if you dont feel her for a few hours or a day then she's probably just resting. thats what my doctor told me. with my first child(a girl) i didnt feel her move for a day and thats what the doctor told me,and same with my second pregnancy(a boy) it happened again and that doctor told me the same thing..but if at anytime you dont feel her for a few days then go to your doctor.
