Ok, I just ran to the bathroom and when I wiped I saw a light pink discharge. I'm 10 weeks 4 days. I feel some slight back pain but not too much cramping. This is my second, and I've never experienced this before. I can't call the dr for another couple of hours. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I'm trying my hardest not to freak out, but I'm just starting to worry like crazy now!

Thanks! After talking to the dr they don't think anything is wrong, and told me it was most likely due to me just being too productive the day before and to take it easy. So far today is normal, so that does make me feel MUCH better.

I wouldn't worry about it, I call that your period saying it's final goodbye! It happened to me also, and I was at the hospital with a hefty bill for no reason. Question, did you have sex recently?? That sometimes is the cause of it also. However, if the cramping persists and the pink discharge turns red, then I strongly suggest you get to the hospital.

I understand how you feel - I had spotting and bleeding from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. It was so scary! I'm 10 weeks now, though, and everything is fine. They think it was just caused by the hormone changes. Spotting or bleeding during pregnancy is very common, and most women who do still have perfectly healthy pregnancies. I would say call the doctor when you can, but try not to worry too much. Instead of focusing on your fear and worry, try to picture your beautiful healthy baby - that really helped me get through those scary couple of weeks when I was bleeding.

I wouldn't worry about it. I spotted from 6 to 8 weeks like one of the previous post said. I spoke to my dr and he said as long as it wasn't bright red accompanied by sharp pain not to worry.

so mabey you have just put too much strain on your body doing something and it caused a little bleeding?

As, we might realize that we frequently bleed during pregnancy. The immediate information on what do you do next is really much better.

The pink did change to red and got a little more, however not enough for a pad. I did go to see my dr today and the exam seemed to go well, my cervix is still closed but bleeding a little. I guess it's common for the cervix to bleed a little, and he didn't seem concerned. I also needed to go in because I've got negative blood and needed a shot. I have an ultrasound on Friday, the clinic was closed so I need to wait till Friday :(

I've had no cramping yet, Well gas pains, and my bloating and morning sickness was so bad I've only eaten a little today :(

I plan on taking it easy until I at least see the ultra sound, it's just hard sometimes I have an energetic toddler.

I did in the beginning. I went to the hospital because you are not supposed to be doing that right now. If I were you I would go to the hospital to be sure that everything is okay.

Thanks! I tried to call the dr office, but my dr is out of the office for the rest of the day so I decided to just call tomorrow morning when he is in. I still feel pregnant, so I guess I'm just really confused. I also did a lot of cleaning around the house yesterday, and I read that that could trigger something similar. I'm really hoping nothing's wrong!
