My baby stops moving when I touch my stomach

Thanks for helping but the other day i got out of the shower and put my hand on my belly to feel him and he kicked!!!! I guess my hand had to be wet lol!!!!!!

hahaha thats funny well not really ha but its normal... it hasnt happened to me but it happens when my boyfriend puts his had on my tummy or if i say "look" then the movement just stops... i thought my baby was just shy or somethin haha

my little one will kick and i can usually feel her when i put my hand on my stomach she will also kick when my bf (not baby's daddy...long story) will touch my stomach or when he talks to her..however she will not kick for my sister or my mom..

I believe all of you about temps of hands but i WILL spend the WHOLE day with my hands there waiting so he WILL let me lol thanks

my first did that tooo... but mostly with Daddy. with me he got used to it I guess I also used to atually sit there with my hands pressed against the belly so he didn't have a choice but to move against my hands... this baby I am carrying now is a mover and Daddy finally got to feel the baby move inside me lol

lol... I don't have quite the same issue, but I do when I want to get daddy's attention to feel the lil kicks and what not... once daddy puts his hand on my tummy he stops moving... it's aggravating, because he kicks up a storm, and moves around and I feel it on the inside and outside, but as soon as daddy makes his way over he stops... but then when daddy leaves... he starts right up again...

We will catch him at one point or another since now the kicks are bigger and more frequent... I'm sure daddy will get to see and feel them eventually. lol.. for now I just chuck it up to "mommy and baby" time...

My son did the same exact thing, he would kick for everybody but me. Its completely normal.

That happeneds to my BF, every time he sees my hand on my belly, he comes to feel her move. But she only moves very slowly when his hand on my belly, so he cant feel her, then takes his hand away she goes crazy jumping around. It is frustrating for me to as this is my BF first and he doesnt want to miss anything. But i do beleive it is the different temperature of the hands. These babies of ours have got us all figured out already. Good luck, fingers crossed that our babies let our parners feel there little kicks soon.

That happens to my husband a lot, she will kick and he will put his hand there and... nothing. Haha it can be very very frustrating, but my theory is that the warmth from his big hand is somehow soothing to her or something, I also get excited and maybe she senses that and gets still or something? I wish I had a more educated answer for you, maybe it's just your luck, always missing it, I hardly get to feel my baby either, they seem to be sneaky that way!
