Nesting anyone???

hey, im nesting too- and just started my 32nd week of pregnancy.
except, i seem to be doing all the cleaning and baking and cooking at my boyfriends house, and at weird times too (3am anyone?), but at my house i just dont seem to want to clean :/
im not sure what that means, and i do find it strange, because neither my partner of i are allowed to move out to be together and have to wait till we're both 18 and financially stable before either of our mothers let us leave home.. so im stuck wondering why im nesting at his house but not mine?

yes that is completely normal.. women nest at different phases of pregnancy.. it really just depends.. i didnt start nesting till about 2 weeks ago and i'm now 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant but i know women who nested way earlier then me too

OMG i did that this past couple of days and i am 31 weeks. Its so very unusual for me to clean to the extent i have been and also doing everything for my hubby without him asking. I normally ask him to do some things around the house but atm i just do it myself. I was also getting worried as i am only 31 weeks and with my son i nested at 36 weeks and he was born at 37 weeks.But i have just put it down to the fact that my last child came early so i am getting in earlier with the whole nesting with this one. Well thats what i am hoping for anyway! :)

I agree with Amanda. 21 weeks and I am already becoming a maniac. If I wasn't teaching it would be way worse. My family has 6 weeks before I'm fully devoted to cleaning, shopping and cooking.

at about 18 weeks i started going through all of my daughters old things (she's 21 months) and pulling out EVERYTHING that could be used for a boy. started buying clothing as well, much to my fiances disgruntlement. he thinks it's too soon. i'll probgably start preparing meals in my crockpot during my last few months to freeze for an easier first month. cleaning i'm not really doing yet, but i probably will. weith my last i was nesting by week 35 and by week 37 had EVERYTHING ready. i wasn't as prepared with the first 2 kids.

I thought nesting was you went all nuts one day cleaning and cooking and boom u go into labour, but im due may15th and for the last 2 weeks i have not stopped cooking or cleaning, but im thinking it me making sure that everything is done before i go into labour lol

im 33 weeks and i feel the urge only problem is we are stuck in our old lease til the 4th of May so i havent been abe to see Damiens no room let alone clean it and disinfect it! I feel out of whack and restless. These dang days are creeping by!

i nexted with all of mine. tho not to the extent that my guy benefited much. LOL. with #4 i'm only at 22 weeks but i've already started washing my toddlers old clothes and sorting out anything a boy can wear and everything else she's outgrown i'll take to a consignment store to 'trade in' for boys clothes. i'll probably start the other nesting behaviors by 30 weeks. Fiance keeps getting after me for buying baby clothes for the newest addition, but i just can't help it. I see something i like and i HAVE to have it. LOL.

:) my mother is also coming up from FL to help me... i have a feeling she will be pleasantly suprised! normally i am not so tidy.... i agree w/ u denise at least its clean and ready for little dude :) good luck ladies!!

haha... with my fisrt I nested in a house I was moving out of before my son was even born lol... this one I have no time to nest as I chase an energetic 2 1/2 year old all the time! I am also 30 weeks and in a few weeks my mom is coming to nest for me :)

Yeah I did it with my first pregnancy(she was 5 days late and I had to be induced) and with this one(I'm due in 2 1/2 week). I started nesting really early! I'm always keeping things overly clean.But hey at least everything is ready for my little dude to come home! I also keep really really active. I do Yoga, Exercise and walk a lot. It definitely helps me keep energized!
