Hi there I am a mother of 2 boys (4years ans 16 months.) After my second child I got the nexplanon implant and was told by my doctor it was the most effective contraception.

Everything was fine for the first 10 months no side affects,no periods. About 8 weeks ago had a period on and off for about 2 weeks then nothing then I had light (brown) bleeding for 2/3 days. Since then I've noticed my stomach looks bloated and round, my breasts have gotten a bit bigger and I'm constipated all symptoms from my first 2 pregnancies.

I went to my doctor but she looked at me as though I had 2 heads and dismissed it completely. I read on net that if I do a home test it will show negative regardless due to hormones in nexplanon.

So now I am a bit anxious and wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms or infact gotten pregnant whilst using nexplanon?

I have nexplanon for about 10 months. Had a baby boy last Dec. and I have a 6yr old and a 4 year old. I had no period due to breast feeding for 6 months then my usually light periods and migraine, cramps, bloating pms. I had a period the week before/of thanksgiving. We had intercourse 8 days ago then at day 5 after intercourse I felt exhausted. I just keep wanting to sleep all day. I also began very light brown spotting that barely needs a liner then once a day I have to change it when the spotting gets a tad heavier with a bit of red mixed with the brown. Then it goes very light spotty again! For three days now. So weird. I am craving sour cream! Ate it with Mac n cheese and as dip for my hot fries. Very weird... I have very mild cramping into my back but nothing needing my usual naproxen.... I am thirsty, running for the bathroom to pee, and needing to cry at random. Yes I get stressed and have anxiety issues at times of high stress, and my mother in law passed away recently, but I have experienced many losses over the years and never felt pregnant! Lol I did take two HPTs but it is too early and they were very very faintly pos. I know it could be an early miscarriage or the implant but it also could not be from what I have read.
