Ok, so I am 35 wks pregnant and have been feeling the Braxton Hicks contractions for a couple weeks now but today I also started to feel a large amount of pressure down there. I mainly feel it when I am up and walking around, but somestimes feel it when I am sitting or laying down. I have also noticed that my vision is not clear, but not really blurry either, when I feel the pressure.

I'm not really worried about going into labor early, nobody in my family has gone into labor this early before, but I know theres a first for everything!

I'm just wondering if the pressure is normal, or if it's something to really be worried about.

suposedly blurred vision.. even so blurry you can't see about 2 feet in front of you is common.. yes sometimes it can be a medical issue... the pressure is jsut your baby's head and toatly fine.. though uncomfy! :p

I have been having the same thing as you. I've been having braxton hicks since 13 weeks and am now almost 29 weeks. When I get my contractions I get lots of pressure, doesn't matter if I'm standing, sitting, or lying down. A couple people said up there that it's the baby dropping. Is it possible for the baby to drop this soon? I didn't think it was. I just thought the extra pressure added was from the baby getting heavier and that putting more pressure.

i think you should defiently see your doctor about blurry vision, i was getting blurry vision went to doctors about it and ended up in intensive care :( they think it could have been swine flu. its better to be safe then sorry. that was just before christmas last year. am 36 weeks now and getting blurry vison and pain just under my ribs now, asked doctor about it at hospital visit they think it could be an infection so i say definetly see a doctor about it

You know i have been wondering the same thing. I have had Braxton hicks contractions off and on for the last couple days but its only one or two at a time. I am also feeling the pressure that you are talking about alot more now than earlier in my pregnancy I think its just my body getting ready for labor. I however have not had blurry vision i would definatly talk to your doctor about it even though you think that it may be nothing to worry about its better that your doctor know about it in case it is serious even if it is nothing at all

Normal. I didn't have the symptoms w/ my 1st, but have been feeling the pressure & nerve shooting pains off & on w/ 2nd. Since about 35-36 weeks.

Your vision changing during pregnancy is completely normal, as is the pressure in your pelvic area. The baby is 'dropping', so it's going to get a little uncomfortable lol.

THat's what I thought, I jusst don't want to be the crazy first time mom that calls the doctor over every little ache or pain!!

normally it's caused by the baby "dropping". I am 38weeks currently. Unfortunately, blurred vision is completely normal. I wouldn't worry too much :-)
