I'm having a girl (37 weeks, and it's my first baby) and the nursery theme is jungle/safari animals. I didn't find out for sure it was a girl until 28 weeks, and I wanted to start buying some things so I picked a neutral theme. I think I would have gone with the jungle theme/animal theme either way. I don't like all the pink themes there are for girls. But, if I had a boy, I probably would have done jungle/animals or outer space.

hahaha, wouldn't you believe it?! I have the perfect idea for a girl's nursery and we're pregnant with our FOURTH boy!!!!

Do you think black and white toile is too girlie for a baby boy's room? Mind you, I will be basically sharing the room with the baby so it has to be something that fits both of us (my husband has medical issues and has to have plenty of rest so waking up every 2 hours with a newborn is out of the question for him)

im 25 weeks pregnant with a boy, and we had the hardest time figuring out what to do for the nursery. we have different religious backgrounds and stuff which is why what we agreed on shocked me, but its noahs ark but modern, it really is gorgeous. Bananafish made it its a brand that apparently is really big for babies but if you look it up they actually give you awesome ideas on their website for nursery themes. Its great !!

Im going on 20 weeks and will know if its a boy or a girl in 4 days. We are going with a pop monkey theme. It has a mint green color to it. When I say it I knew it was the one even befor knowing what I was having!

Im 29 weeks pregnant and I'm having a boy. My theme is jungle..I personally dont like the Pooh/Mickey themes. Another cute one is sports...

Our theme for our newborn son is green, blue, and yellow plaid with turtles and frogs. I found a set and it is adorable. Also it is not overdone like a lot of other themes.

wow. I loved the eiffel tower idea. ummm I am going to have a stars and moon theme... just because... I still dont know what Im having. (I find out this wednesday) but plus it's easy to incorparate it for boys or girls. plus..... the kiddo and I are in the same room. lol

I'm having my second boy in May and for my first one I did an airplane room! Sky blue walls with white sponge clouds on the top half, Bright red curtains, Framed Aircraft prints (my husband and I are both 'Plane Nuts' so I already had a great collection), Fun Kites in the corners near the ceilings and a Area rug that has town's and roads on it for the floor. All of the primary colored toys seem to look like they belong in the room!

For this boy, I'm doing a light grey room with red curtains again (red is such a happy color) and Fire Truck accents! I'm looking for a great piece of wall art now to set the theme (too bad pottery barn baby wasn't selling the great fire truck 3 piece print they used as set dressing for thier firetruck line!)

Our nusury is a Classic Pooh theme! I love it! Our first baby was a girl, she is going to be 25 months when our next is born (I'm 18 weeks). The walls are a "baby green" color, and all the bedding and wall decorations are Classic Pooh. Everything is neutral, we are not finding out what we are having, we didn't with our first either! Can't wait to meet baby #2!!

I don't know whether I'm having a boy or girl, but our house is painted 3 shades of blue throughout, with a darker blue feature wall in every room. As I didn't want to ruin it by painting one room I chose and "Under the Sea" theme to fit in with it, using soft furnishings from the Kidsline Calypso range. Lots of bright orange and green sea creatures, and big bright decals for the walls so really it could be suitable for either gender.

Our nursery walls are white chocolate with a navy, red, and brownish-orange sports border. Crib bedding is blue with sport playing teddy bears (the bears are teddy bear material on the quilt) and there are matching teddy bear wall hangings of a football, basketball and baseball players. Our floors are hardwood so there is a soccer ball bear on the area rug by the crib. Too cute.

We are havinga little girl in March.

Her nursery is pretty well already completed. It has "baby yellow" walls with the Babies R Us Raspberry Swirl nursery theme. You can probably do a google search to see a picture of the theme, but if not, it's colors are fuschia, purple, light pink and white with a touch of green.

Oh, and the furniture (crib, dresser & change table) is a creamy wood color.

I'm going with a non-trademarked theme, so no Mickeys, or Poohs, or Sesame Street... None of that which just adds to the cost of the nursery bedding, etc.

I was going to go with a NoJo teddy bear set in whites, beiges/browns, blues and greens but then fell in love with the darker hued CoCaLo teddy/monkey/puppy set in browns/beiges, blue and red. No matter which I went for, I was going for a set that I could use with a second child, no matter the gender. And...I love bears, so that helped. :)

oh my gosh! I love you! haha. I only clicked into your thread because I wanted to suggest MY nursery theme because it's so adorable and not very common... turns out we have the same idea for baby girl nursery themes!! haha Pink Poodles in Paris. =] I hope you're having a girl because I REALLY have no suggestions for boy themes!! haha. BUT word for the wise... the black part of the theme is VERY hard to find. apparently not many people want to put black in their baby's nurseries.

39 weeks and we are having a girl.... raspberry color with white and lime green it looks so pretty all together ( it doesn't sound like it would be but it is) and they are butterflies!!!

Im having a boy and the theme is sports. His bedding has baseballs, basketballs, soccor balls and footballs on em. And I put up the same decals on the wall! It looks awesome

we're having a boy and going with a blue and chocolate theme. we seem to gravitate towards monkeys for some reason. so we're using monkeys in the tree tops or the brown against a blue sky.

If it's a girl we want to spring time theme with flowers and bugs and if it's a boy farm for my twin boys we did Jungle we find out sex on the 19th can't wait

When I was prego with my first a girl ( I am prego wtih my 2nd a boy now) I wanted something totally different then the usual pink or blue, or the usual characters like Pooh or Mickey etc. Originally I really like the thought of doing the old school nursery rhyme theme unfortunately I was unable to find a good pattern for it. So I ended up doing bright colors & different patterns. I found a cool circle pattern & a stripe pattern that matched it. They had colors like mango orange, bright blue, lime green, & yellow in them. I mixed & matched the patterns to create a bedding set & valances & then painted the room a yellow color with an accent wall of lime green. Everyone loved it & it will still work for our baby boy that we are expecting.

I am 20 wk preg with my first, and we haven't found out yet what it is. But either way, we are doing a Pooh themed nursery, since it goes with both. We already have so many pooh bears to decorate with its crazy :)
