Has anyone else had a pain in there pelvic region? The only time I seem to have it is when im up and walking around. This is my third baby on the way. I have had pelvic pressure before with my last but not like this. Baby still moving around but it just hurts to walk around. Please someone give me advice to what it could be. I know its not hypertension.... can anyone help with advice??

I complained to my doctor about pain in my pelvic/bladder region. He said it was most likely just my ligaments stretching, and unless it's really severe or turns into a cramp type pain then I shouldn't worry.

I am going through the same thing... baby number 4 for me... My doc told me thats its just because ive had so many babies, everything is not as tight and my ligaments are not as strong from the first one... he also said it just gets worse the more babies you have.... trust me i know how you feel... sometimes i feel like i can barely walk... everything else is fine, no back pain, or bum pain, just pain in my groin and pelvis.... all should be okay once you have baby tho

Hi it sould be pelvic/ groin pain, Ive had something similar with all my pregnancy's. This one alk to your docotr or midwife, also may is pretty bad. Thelp to see a physio! Try heat packs and warm showers when you can, also pillow betweern legs at night

Yeah I had two others and have experienced pressure pain but this is a little more than that. If it is the same thing omg i dont wish this on anyone. If she ready wooo but she needs to stay in there for another three to four months then she can come out.

I sometimes get aches in the same sort of region, not pain so much, well no more than the usual at 37+4wks. My dr said it was just a build up from the pressure and the body preparing...but it's not really pain, just more like aching.

I'd go speak with your midwife/ doctor they'll be able to diagnose whatever is causing the pain and may be able to do something about it. With lower abdominal pain could be a water infection maybe?

It just pain in my pubic area and some in the lower abdominal area. Dont have any pain in my bum... and really dont have lower back pain. It just when im up walking, its been more constant now, some days will be good day where it just hurts some but others ever step I take is pain in the pubic area. Hmm

Are the pains like muscle ache around your groin and pubic area? Do you also get pain in you bum, a sharp shooting pain? Do you have any kind of lower back ache?

If any of these are true you may have SPD (symphis pubis dysfunction) or PGP (pelvc girdle pain) both are fairly common in pregnancy (usually once you've had the baby the pain is relieved) and although cannot be cured (during pregnancy) can be treated with physio-therapy and hydro-therapy, and if it gets really bad you can also use crutches which help take some of the pressure off your pelvis as you walk.

I find my SPD is much worse when I stand up and when I am walking especially if I am walking for an extended time. Also you can suffer it even if you haven't suffered it before in any other pregnancies.
