I got some (deeper) stretch marks from caring my son. I already had some faint ones on my butt & upper thigh from lots of lifting & working out in high school & college. I gained all my baby weight right near the end of the pregnancy, so my stretch marks got a bit deeper. I also developed a few newer ones on the insides of my legs/groin area. They aren't too bad & hardly noticable, but I am pregnant with my second (only 12 weeks right now) and they hurt! I can't say they are itchy or anything like that...just painful like they are being stretched or pulled. I still run, have only gained 3 lbs, and put the cocoa butter (Palmer's brand) on them religiously, but still...I am afraid they are going to get REALLY bad further along in my pregnancy. Are there any suggestions on how to handle this?
