i would suggest to just put a few names together and see which one you like the sound of better...try using a family members name...my daughters name is Bryanna Lee-Ann...she is named after her fathers best friend bryan, my grandmother and his mother with the ann part and lee is for him..i am due in Aug with another little girl whose name is going to be Alyssa Jayde..named after noone but i just loved the sound of it...

I am personally fond of the dying classics. Have you dabbled with something along the lines of Alayna Vivian, Alayna Marjorie, Alayna Claire, or Alayna Lillian? I was just giving examples, but sometimes when we get stumped on something, it is always good to get back to basics.

I agree with Amber, my baby is Adalynn Mary Mae, Mary after my mother, and Mae after my grandmother. If she had been a boy, she would have been Henry Robert James, after my grandfather, father and her father.

the suggesting to try something from a family member or dear friend is what i also would suggest. personally i love names that flow, just roll off the tongue. I'm sure you can find something you love that's complimentary to the first name you've chosen. (example, my toddler is Violet Freyja (my fiance is part norwegian) and the boy we're having is going to be Damien Alexander)

My husband said if we have a boy this time around that he wants to give him his Dads and Brothers middle name as his middle name.

There's the traditional names like Marie, Faith, Grace, and Lynne. You could go with something like Brianne, Brenna, Michelle, Jenelle, or Elizabeth too. Good luck!

I think middle names are a good way to include someone important in your life into your child's name, maybe not so much a friend but Grandmother, Mother, Mother-in-law, etc. My baby is supposed to be a girl and my BF came home one day saying he really liked the name Kyra, I like it too but I wanted to give her his mom's name for her middle name which is Karel, but unfortunately his last name is Kelly so I didn't think it wise to give her the initials KKK, so instead I am going to give her his mom's middle name which is Anne...Kyra Anne Kelly... I do think that the longer the first and last names it is nice to give them a shorter middle name etc... Hope that give you some ideas...
