Should I worry?

I have been having some cramping that I have had for a few weeks now. It feels like the cramps you get a few days before your period but it just comes and goes and usually lasts only a few seconds. I will be 8 weeks on sunday and I have a doctors appointment on friday. I just wanted to make sure if it was something I should really worry about or if it is normal.

I had cramps for the first 12weeks, if its not severe, and you have no bleeding then it is most likely stretching pains, to help make room for you bub to grow! its a good thing..

I did ask my doctor and she said as long as there is no bleeding associated with it that I should be fine. I also read that it is your uterus making room for the baby to grow. Thanks for posting! :)

Sometimes it take your body a lil while to realize your pregnant (if that makes sense) With all 3 of my pregnancies I still felt like I was gonna start my period when it was time at least the first 2 months, My body was trying to gear up for a period even though it never happened. Any concern should be brought up at the Doc appointments tho thats what they are there for, They can check and reassure you of any questions you have.

I think we are all getting it! I'm 6 weeks along and I've been super crampy as well. This is my second child and it still worries me :O I'll just be more reassured when I have my first appt on the 29th of this month and I can see the ultrasound. Seeing the baby and its heartbeat deffinatly makes me feel actually "pregnant" and its comforting! Congrats to all you NEW moms!! :D

I'm 5 weeks and I've just started feeling the cramps too. They're more annoying than painful but still let me know they're there. It almost feels like a mix between a constipated cramp and a menstrual cramp. I asked my doctor about it and she said it could be muscle cramp or your bowels telling you to check your fiber intake. This is my second baby and I do remember feeling the same thing with my first, only I had no idea I was pregnant at the time and I was expecting my period to come too haha

Amanda, don't stress yourself out too much. If there is something seriously wrong, you will know. Just keep asking questions when you're unsure :)

If they are hurting a lot or you are worried then call your doctor , cramps are a normal part of being pregnant it is your muscles stretching .

I got those cramps with both of my pregnancies. Before I took the test I kept telling myself I can't be pregnant because I have cramps I'm gunna get my period soon :) haha it never came. So I wouldn't worry to much about it, but ask your doctor if you want to be safe.
