Showing already???

Bloating, water retention, and yeah, you're uterus is growing, not just the baby. I am in my 10th week and it is uncomfortable for me to button my pants. Which is weird because I didn't show with m 1st till I was almost 5 months. But don't worry you are not alone. =]

It isn't your baby making your uterus grow. It is your uterus expanding by itself since it knows what to do and is more elastic now that it has been stretched once. I showed a lot earlier with this one then with my first. I know a girl who just had her daughter yesterday, almost a week after her due date, and I was at least an inch larger then she was and I still have 3 months to go! I carry huge though, and I have large babies. But you show earlier and grow a little bigger with each pregnancy. Enjoy your belly, or as I call it...your badge of honor! Your gonna be a mommy again!

I am 21 weeks 3 days with my second and i started showing like right away but with my son i didnt even look pregnant until i was like 5 months along. I think it has to do with the second your body expands quicker because it remembers. I lost all my baby weight with my son right after he came out tho didnt even look like i just gave birth to a 7 lb baby so im hoping the same thing happens with this one. Also with this one i weighed less to begin with so maybe that has something to do with it too.

I am 11 weeks with my 2nd and just had my first 11 months ago. I lost all my baby weight immediately after his birth. I am not showing at all right now and have actually lost 5 lbs. The baby was also measuting a week BIGGER at my last ultrasound!! I've heard with your 2nd pregnancy you start showing early because your muscles are stretched, but every pregnancy and woman is different.At 37 weeks pregnant with my first I had a doctor think my belly was post baby.. my tummy was crazy little, but I still gained a healthy 27 lbs and baby was over 8 lbs Your doctor will tell you if they feel concerned about your weight gain or how fast your uterus is growing if there is any problem.

I'm 29wks due Oct 1st. I didnt show until 20wks or so.. but i was getting bloated and wore a bella band. I didnt want maternity pants! LOL It could be jsut some water weight.
My thighs and butt gained weight first.

I'm right around 11 weeks with my second baby, and I'm already having to buy maternity dresses. I'm a little freaked out by this, lol. With my daughter, who will turn 10 in October, I wore an itty bitty bikini during the entire summer and didn't really show until I was around 6 months with her. I have read that with your second baby, you tend to show earlier. But, I'm still a little taken aback by this. I've been showing about a week or so now. I get my first scan at 20 weeks.

I am now 9 weeks pregnant with my third, but I started showing at about 5 weeks. I was thinking that I was further along or was pregnant with twins, but everything checked out to just be one and to be right where we thought we were. The best analogy I have heard was from a friend who also had 3 children and started showing earlier with hers. Her doctor pretty much said, Imagine a balloon. the first time you blow it up, it's hard to blow up and moves very very slowly. The second time is much easier and all other times keep getting easier after that. That's pretty much the way your stomach muscles work. The first time they go to expand it takes much more than it does if you have already had one.

Well I had my scan today and I am no further along and am having just the one baby. But still getting bigger by the day! lol

I am having my third and 8 weeks. I am showing so much that a friend thought I was 20 weeks! I know I'm not further (ultrasound 2 days ago). Must be the body remembers a lot more than with my 2nd!!

I started showing at about 6 weeks!

Hi Kelly. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my second and am already showing. My body bounced back very quickly after having my son, and it seems to have done the same adjusting to this pregnancy. Everything seems to have spread out and expanded much earlier than I was expecting. LOL

im pregnant with my first and i definatly showed from day one or at least early. since its your second your body is probably just getting ahead of itself. the uterus grows alot and your body probably remembers that so the baby probably just has a bigger home for the time being...



orrrr you could be farther along. lol. who knows?
