When it comes to having stretch marks, I wrote the book. I guess it's heredity, but I was doomed to get them once I was pregnant. Instead of using a mixture of cocoa butter and other oils I just went ahead and ordered a cosmeceutical grade stretch mark removal cream. It was expensive, but it really did help lessen the appearance of even my worst and deepest marks in record time. It was really worth it to me

it's genetics so there's really no way to prevent them. only ways to make them less noticable. I just got them a week or so ago and am 34wks as of yesterday. They itched really bad but are now getting better with Palmers Stretch Mark cream and Nutrogena lotion. I tried Bio-oil but broke out in a horrible rash. Hope you find something that works.

I use Bio Oil, Palmers Tummy Butter, Carottene, and a special blend of cooking grade cocoa butter and almond oil melted down together then left to harden then you rub it on your belly/hips/whatever. So far, I have none but I still have 3.5 months left. Howeeeever I am huge for how far along I am as I carry far out front so I'm impressed that I have none yet!

Bio-Oil... i ballooned during puberty and had some serious stretch marks on my boobs and thighs and they are pretty much gone now since i started using that, and i've also been putting it on my belly, boobs, and general areas that may stretch since i found out i was pregnant and i don't have a stretch mark yet... i have a lil over a month left to go but so far so good
