i got the swine flu vaccine almost a week ago i am 36 weeks pregnant and it has made me extremely sick! i suggest to anyone whos doctor says you should get it to refuse! it has caused me severe stomach pains and brought on braxton hicks every time i cough, headaches and a very bad cough and sore chest.

The vaccine (as long as it was a shot and not nasal spray) is a dead virus vaccine meaning you can't get sick from the vaccine. I got the vaccine back in October and also got sick but I was already starting to feel some sick symptoms. I actually think the vaccine helped to make my case of H1N1 less severe. I hope you feel better soon.

hey, I got the shot early in my pregnancy as well, and had no problems other than a sore arm :) I am sorry to hear that you had problems with it... we mommies to be just wanna make sure that our babies will be alright!

Like Tonia..same with me. I had the shot early in my pregancy and had not problems at all. Maybe it was just the timing that helps or maybe like all shots everyone reacts to them differently

i had it early in my pregnancy and I was fine, my arm ached a little bit where I'd had the jab but other than that I was fine.
