I am 32 weeks pregnant and my baby girl hardly moves! She would move constantly throughout my pregnancy and then when I was seven months she turned down! Ever since then I dont feel her move very often! I was concerned at first but whenever my midwife checks on the heartbeat and stuff it is all normal so I dont know if I should still be concerned! I wish she were active like she was throughout my pregnancy! You ladies are lucky so enjoy it!

Im 35 weeks pregnant almost. My daughter is very active as well, but I have noticed she is slowing down a bit! My Dr's said active babies are healthy babies :) As u get closer 2 being 9months the baby will slow down, due to the the weight of the baby and the lesser room that the baby has 2 manuver!! When my daughter gets over active I rub in areas she is moving and talk 2 her and eventually she slows down some. Good luck with your new baby

OMG, I'm 32 wks today and my baby is really active, i don't know the gender, but my husband and I are hoping for a girl since i have 2 boys. It doesn't matter what time day or nite this child is always on the go. I barely get sleep myself because of the movements. My belly is really low, my Dr. advised me to get the pregnancy belt but I feel i'll restrict the baby, As stated the feeling are great and knowing that all the movements are positive signs.

my little girl is extremely active at 31 weeks. As long as all sonograms show great growth and structure, dont worry and enjoy it!

I'm only 25 weeks, baby starts kicking and rolling around like crazy every day and night since 21 weeks. This is my 2nd pregnancy and my 1st one wasn't that active in my belly, although he is very active now (3 yrs old boy).

I know what you mean about active baby. I'm at 36 weeks right now and she is still very active. Just found out the other day she is just over 7lbs right now. It can be very uncomfortable. With my first child I didn't notice him to be this active at all.

This is definately a concern I have had for the past few weeks. I am 35 weeks preggo and I tell you what, either this lil guy is going to be a soccor player, a boxer or in the olympics because he is sooooo active. I have asked 2 doctor's (one being a high risk pregnancy) if it's normal or if my child is having seizure's... Both doctor's said an active baby is a good baby!

Any time I would lay and place something on my belly, he would constantly kick it until I moved it. Now, it's like he is stretching. You can literally see my belly move like jello and watch him push on both sides of my belly.

I wouldn't be worried, just be patient and endure the temporary torture :) It's well worth it!

I would take it as a good sign. This is my first but she is very active unless I'm walking a lot. I'm glad she moves I had a miscarriage about a year and a half ago so at lest I know this one is fine. some days she wont stop moving and I can't even sleep well for days but its all worth it to me to know shes healthy. Exercise dose help calm mine down for a bit otherwise I would just be happy you have a healthy baby.

I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and I have a wiggle worm! It's my 4th baby and the most active. He's constantly moving, whether its a little or a lot... DH says he's praciticing his golf swing... But he's still in awe every time he feels it or sees my belly doing the mambo all by itself (it's DH's 1st child)... There's not much we can do about it except be thankful it shows the baby is doing good. Maybe try position changes if he's pushing/kicking the wrong spots. I push back if my little boy is making me uncomfortable and usually he shifts around to something that isn't so bad.

GL!

I know sometimes the movements can be uncomfortable but just be glad for an active baby. It mostly tells you that he/she is doing ok. When I was pregnant and having complications with our 3rd child I was too early on to have much noticeable movement and it drove me crazy to not know if she was ok or not. So, take joy in that you have an active healthy baby!!

Melanie,

This being my first pregnancy, I don't have anything to compare it to, but I think this little one is pretty active. I am at 33 weeks and 5 days. She seems to be constantly shifting and stretching in there. :) When I'm still and she's moving, by getting up or changing positions sometimes helps to quiet her down for a while.

So far, she's pretty much on her dad's schedule already, she doesn't seem to really settle down at night until he comes to bed, puts a hand on my stomach and talks to her (which is usually around 2:30 a.m. and I'm up getting ready for work at 6 a.m.)

Don't know if any of that helps, but I thought I would share. Hope your pregnancy has and continues to go well, even with an active baby.
