Facebook seems to think that pregnancy/breatsfeeding photos are "offensive". they have been deleted off of womens profile pages due to there being "explicit and/or nudity". how is this fair when they are pictures of life itself? What are your thoughts on this? Should it be made national or even worldwide news?

I do not think breast feeding photos are what you described above - pregnancy photos either if done tastefully -

I had pics of a horse that I was rehabbing of her open wound - they said that was inappropriate!

I have had a nursing photo censored. In the picture I'm nursing my son on the beach completely covered by a towel. The only part of my son you could see was his little feet sticking out of the side of the towel. Honestly, if I hadn't captioned the photo "nursing on the beach" you would not have been able to tell I was even nursing at all. I have posted it again a few times (without the caption) and it was not censored again. Ugh.

I think this raises some issues as you can put photos of children, naked in the bath or playing, etc on fb so why can't you put photos of being pregnant or breastfeeding on there? It could open a whole can of worms if it makes the news... then it could either be ok or they will make it so nothing can be put on there!

if facebook said that its probably because one of ur fb friends reported your picture for it. ive never heard of pregnancy pictures being taken off before.. i never had my taken off either have anyone i no.. and i dont think it should be taken off unless r breast or vagina or ass was showing.. as for breastfeeding well that i totally understand being taken off after all why would u want everyone to see ur breast?
