When did you begin to feel your baby move for the 1st time? I am 18 weeks but I haven't felt it yet!

I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my frist baby & I just felt him or her move for the first time last week.
Depending on alot of different things is when you feel your baby move.
You could be feeling it & Just not realizing it aswell...
some people discribe it as gas, or fluttering...
I discribed it to my doctor as spasms...
You'll discover it sooner or later, and when you do you'll be SO EXCITED.
Good luck!

Hi April. With my first child I felt him around 21 weeks. This second time around I felt our little girl's karate kick at 20 weeks. Guess both of my kids are late bloomers. You'll feel it soon enough. It will catch you off guard. I think both times I was lying in bed drifting off to sleep when they moved. With first born I was like "whoa". With this 2nd pregnancy I knew what to expect.

I am at 13 weeks with #2, and I feel occassional flutters. Is that possible? I mean the baby is still little.... It sounds like several of you are also feeling pulses or flutters.... That's cool if its the baby... and not the burrito I had for lunch.... Lol.

I was 16 weeks with my first pregnancy (it felt like "butterflies" or pulses in my gut) This pregnancy I was right around 13 weeks, I kind of wonder if maybe the first time I didnt feel them earlier & just didnt realize what it was. This time around I know what I'm feeling. Just wait though, the bigger it gets the more movement you'll feel! Pretty soon you'll know exactly what you're feeling & where its going (i.e. a foot rolling across the front of your belly! LOL)

GOOD LUCK

Felt the first movements after 20 week ultrasound. No worries. Your baby will be beating your insides in no time.

My two previous pregnancies I felt movement as early as 16 weeks however this time I didn't feel anything until about 22 weeks. Now I am convinced she has started her own personal marching band.

I am 19 weeks and I have felt my little one on quite a few occasions, the best way i described it was a little "pulse" , when I felt it I knew exactly what it was. Don't worry you will feel your little seed soon enough!

I am pregnant with our first, and I felt her for the first time two days before week 19, but I was laying on my back in bed, just thinking in the morning and real still. I felt her "kick" twice, and knew it was definitly her. But, once I knew what she really felt like, I could remember a few other times I think I felt her but just thought it may be something else. It wasn't enough to let me really know it was her. But for the first few weeks that I started feeling her it was only when I was resting or sitting still not doing anything. usually laying down.

Oh trust me, you won't miss it! :-)

Especially since the baby is getting bigger and bigger, with less space. It's not so pleasant when they kick your blatter
