When did you start showing?

My boob got huge before I really showed. I looked like I got breast implants or something. But normal shirts worked. My tummy didn't start showing until about 16 weeks or so, but by 12 weeks my normal pants no longer fit. I wore sweats and used a bella band for a few weeks because I was too small for maternity pants yet. At 26 weeks I still have to wear the Bella band over the maternity pants because my hips are too small to hold them up. But my rear is definitely bigger.

I stated showing around 25 weeks. I'm due next week and poeple don't believe me. They still think I have months to go..grr.

my 1st baby
i started to show at 4 months BUT
was a very small hardly noticable bump
i got to 8 months and my belly grew a bit but lasted onli 2 weeks coz she was earli XD

now my 2nd bby
started showin bwt 4 months again
but hardly showed
am still ALOT smaller than many people are at this stage *im 34 weeks gone*
i look onli abwt 5 months

I am pregnant with my 4th child, and I started showing at 5 weeks, that's how I knew that i was pregnant. With my other three children I started showing between the 10th and 15th week, so my guess everything is fine.

the more babys u have the faster u show so if its your first not until about 4 to 6 months

everyone is different...my uterus is high and tilted, and for both of my pregnancies, you could tell I was pregnant by 3 months, and I neeeded maternity shirts by between 4 and 5 months, the pants I didn't usually NEED until the end of my 5th month to midway into my 6th, but they were more comfortable, and I wore them earlier than I needed to.

Yah I was about 14 weeks when i everything was getting to tight. Mostly my shirts though. But is soon found out the reason im so huge is because there are two babies in my belly!!! lol. Now im about 23 weeks and only maturnity clothing fits well.

For my first pregnancy, with my twins, I think i really started showing around 5 or 6 months. Though I had to start getting maternity clothes shortly before that. For my current pregnancy, I am 17 weeks. I will be 18 weeks next tuesday when we hopefully find out what we're having, and I'm not really showing all that much yet. But my friend who is pregnant with her 4th child, and is 5 weeks behind me, is already showing.

I started showing for myself by about 11 or 12 weeks for my first, but I didn't actually "show" to anyone other than DH and I till I was 20 weeks.

For my second pregnancy I started to show at about 12 weeks and had to try to hide it from work for a little longer.

Also, bloating caused me to feel like I'm showing more than I really was for all pregnancies. This time I don't "feel" like I'm showing yet (at 6 weeks) because I lost some weight recently, and have started to loose a little due to morning sickness, so my pants are loose to begin with.

If you take stuff for bloating it may help some. Otherwise if your belly mussels are loose (for example from a previous pregnancy) then you'll start showing earlier than if those mussels were still tight.

I had the same question! I am pregnant with my first and am only 8 weeks along today. I feel like I am growing so quickly! Especially in my chest! I was a regular C to begin with and now I am a DD already...and all of my jeans are getting tight to the point where I can only wear the ones that are more stretchy..I was thin to begin with and haven't been over eating or been eating poorly at all, so the doc said it's normal, some just grow quicker than others.

Well I did get some maternity shirts because I looked like my body got bigger over night. I did have an early ultrasound on 5th of Febuary but the tech said that you really couldn't make out anything.. She was even unsure about how many. But my waist has went from a 16 to a 18 1/2 and like I said before my belly has definitely made it's debut... but my mom thinks it's a girl and my husband thinks it's twin girls. I have 2 boys already and nothing has been the same about this pregnancy. Any thoughts?

Yes I think that is a little normal. I didn't know I was pregnant until 8 weeks and I thought I was just gaining a little weight as my weight tends to fluctuate. I started showing at about 3 months. However, I looked like I was getting fatter not like I was pregnant. Plus, my boobs were growing at such an enormous pace that I didn't actually look pregnant (where my belly stuck out past them) until I was 6 months. Now I am just about to my 31st week and you can definitely tell I am pregnant.

I was already starting to show at less than 6 weeks into my pregnancy (and it's my first). Shirts I tended to be able to wear still (mostly because I buy oversize, they're snug now!), but pants had to be replaced for comfort reasons by 7 or 8 weeks, though I got away with elastic waistbands and larger sizes for awhile since my budget really can't handle much in maternity clothes.

Also, don't buy everything in maternity sizes yet. I've found that the farther I get in the pregnancy, the less some of the actual maternity tops fit my big belly comfortably. Buying different sizes can help with this, so don't worry, but don't be suprised if it happens to you.

I didn't even know I was pregnant till 7 or 8 weeks but prior to that I noticed that my belly was a little more bloated because I'm generally very skinny and wear tight clothes. I was only 113 pre-pregnancy and pretty quickly jumped to 117 and 120, so I PERSONALLY felt like I was showing by about 13 weeks but other people probably thought I just drank too much beer! I didn't really pop out and look obviously pregnant until the end of month 4/begining of month 5. I had gained weight but I wouldn't call it "showing." But now I'm 29 weeks and people tell me I look like I'm going to pop! One extreme to the other I guess.

oh yeah, my boobs got HUGE before I even knew I was pregnant or started showing. I mean, I went from a B cup to D cup by the time I was 9 weeks along! guess everyone is different!

This is my first pregnancy but due to my family genes I started showing fairly early. We started noticing my tummy at 8 weeks but my husband noticed my chest expanding before we even found out we had succeeded in concieving(we found out at around 6 weeks). I went thru several spurts then nothing for a week or so. I'm now getting asked if we're sure we aren't having two or ppl thinking I'm a couple weeks farther than I am. Also, sometimes if you are thin/small frame before getting pregnant you can start showing earlier than some other ppl. I was very tiny before I got preggo, 100lbs and 5'3", but everyone and every baby is diff.

Everything starts to get tighter almost right away. Most of that is your breasts getting bigger, hips spreading, and the increase in fluid volume making you bloated. I didn't actually start to look pregnant until I hit at least 16 weeks. From 16-20 I went from having a little bump to really showing though, lol.

That's what everyone said to me.. but no, only 1 baby :-)
It's jsut that with every pregnancy your stomach muscles are weaker plus your body knows what to since since it's not a new situation for it. Has nothing to do with twins.

This is your 3rd child, right? I'm pregnant with my 3rd and i had to start wearing maternity or stretchy pants at 6 weeks. As soon as i had a positive pregnancy test i was bloated.... with my 1st i didn't show until maybe 4 months, with my 2nd it was early, maybe around 3 months

It is too early to see anything with the baby. He or She is still forming & growing... But your belly is already growing with everything else that the baby needs. I wouldn't worry about already showing. Every person & Every pregnancy is different, and All people and babies grow at different speeds.

this is my 3rd pregnancy and i am already showing at 71/2 wks!!!!! the first one i started showing at 5 or 6months the 2nd at 21/2months and now this one, but then again im being told that im expecting twins so omg i am so freaking out already lol!
just remember that if you gain some weight its ok as long as its not too much then your doc will so be on your butt for it! also if you develop or have diabetes thats also a good reason why you might be gaining weight this early. all pregnancies are different so just relax and see what happens. if you feel as huge as i do then take a walk around the block or on the tread mill and hope it makes you feel better! gl and if you need any advice or just need to vent im all ears!!!!

Well, I feel that I am bigger than I should be but I am 18 weeks..I started showing pretty early myself, maybe around 8 weeks or so. I have not bought maternity clothes yet but I def need to =) Im sure its fine! Everyone is different!
