Hi, my name is Kathi. I have a son who is 13 and he has CDLS. I am not sure what the outcome will be for Jeremy or for your grandson, but I know my son is the most lovable little boy and still acts like most boys. If you ever need to chat or if you have a question please don't hesitate to ask. You are not alone, and I think that the more we get out there and get people involved, the more everyone will know what this disability is. It is rare, but the more we talk the more we know. I try to keep Jeremy's teacher's updated on everything with him, so the next time, they get a child that is special like Jeremy, they will know where to start. :) Keep chin up, it's wonderful having a special kid!!!!!
