We have started potty training and my son will only go on his portable potty. If i sit him on the big potty he wont go, he will actually hold it, and the second I put him on his little cars one he goes in less than a minute... i need suggestions, and help... we have a 2 story house and the portable potty stays down stairs, and his room is upstairs, but he wont use the potty next to his room, even with the toddler adapter seat...

awww. I would be that thing must feel huge to him like he's gonna fall in. Those potty seats are cool.You put them over the tiolet seat you presently have. Good Luck.

how about you buy a convertable one the kind that goes from a normal potty into a stool and seat, amazon do a cute duck one which plays music, or toys r us has a cars version. then have this upstairs once hes use to it get him to turn it into the stool bit and put it in your loo then he can climb up and put the seat on yours. Make it a game and allow him to sit on it, It may take one or 2 attemps but your get there.. My friends baby didnt like the big toilet as he though he would fall in and was so high up and he didnt like the seat she had bought either but buying this all in one solved it..
I never had this problem with my little girl infact we fight for the loo, if mummy says she needs wee she always there first laughing at me, and once she finished she climbs off and shuts the lid then climbs up and flushes it, she has just turned two.... so good luck
