Doesnt matter what i do he wont sleep unless he is in our bed. he doesnt need us to be there.. he actually wont sleep next to either of us. but he will not sleep in a crib, he wont sleep on the couch, he wont sleep on the floor,... we have a king size bed and he takes up 80% of it. ,me and my husband take up a little sliver of each side of the bed. He is starting to get off the bed on his own.. hes actually really good at it now and i am afraid one day he will climb off when we are still sleepign and he will hurt himself. so what do i do? how do i get him to sleep in another bed? he has slept in the same bed his whole life!

my 23 month allways ends up in our bed,takes me half hour or more each night to settle her in her own bed! .But allways wakes about 2am n will not settle back down so she comes in our bed and she's out like a light !! just hoping she grows out of it .
you could try putting a toddler bed in your room if you have the space ?

Have you tried laying on the floor of his bedroom until he falls asleep? That may help him transition. Or let him fall asleep in your bed and then move him when you are sure he is asleep. We had to do that with my son and it worked! Good Luck! I know what you mean about bed space, it only gets smaller as they get bigger!

My babys favorite place to sleep is in our bed, since he's still young he'll sleep in his carrier/swing/bouncer but just will not sleep in his crib.
