I am planning a trip to Atlantis with my family and 3 other families. I've never been there and they say it's pretty expensive. I tried to look into the rates for next Feb. but they are not in yet. Has anyone been there? Can you tell me how you liked it? Is it worth it? What should I expect? Thanks.

We went on a cruise that stopped in Nassau and we visited the atlantis on our stop. The hotel is awesome, they have a big waterpark, and a nice aquarium. Since we werent staying there we could get into all part of the hotels so Im not sure about that. They have like Disney you get a photo card # and they have people that will take your pics in front of different parts of the hotel. They also have a large casino that wasnt very crowded. I have looked at going just to Atlantis myself and there are current deals right now were kids are free and its around $500 per adult. Those deals go up to travel in May I believe. I hope this helps. The town of Nassau also has a lot of history and sightseeing and its only a 5 minute taxi ride over the bridge. Taxis are super easy to find and they also offer horse and buggy ride pretty cheap! A great way to see the town.
