4 yr. old still waking up

My 4 year old little girl sleeps in her own bed, we have just began this in the last year due to some complications. So we got her a big full sized bed that she loves and feels like a big girl. What I am wondering is why I still get a 4 year old waking up in the middle of the night, trying to get into my bed....one would think they would sleep throughout the night ???

I have also gotten over trying to solve it, it did get better when my daughter started kindergarten and she is definatly waking less than she used too. We still have bad patches but not that often. I am hoping when she starts big school in Sept that she will finally sleep through.

No they are all different, and as a mum of 3 girls and my 4 year old being the oldest if she is not up one of the others is, and the nights that they all sleep? Well they are just GOLDEN!!! But I figure eventually it will pay off, I always check she doesn't need to go to the toilet, but sh usually says what the problem is, bad dream, aching legs, lost her teddy, and now slowly but surely it is getting less. I am thinking once she gets to school the days will be so full on she will sleep all night.

nope, our 4 year old still wakes during the night, has always done so and I am starting to think that I will still be going to her when she is 16 at this rate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry no solution just sypathy

i had that problem with my little girl and the only thing we found worked was when she came into our room we just put her straight back into her bed walked out closed the door and didnt talk to her after a couple of weeks of tears she realised that we wouldnt let her get into our bed and she stopped waking up, hope it helps you out
