What can I do to make her quit sucking her finger?

My daughter Trinity is almost perfect on everything, but when she's hungry or sleepy, she always put her finger in the mouth. So her finger is really ugly, the skin is kinda hard. Now, even my son Triston who is only 4 months old, sucks his finger too. I really need help on this, please tell me what I can do can make them quit that.

hi my daughter is 2 and sucks her thumb when she is tired and i have a 7 month old that sucks her finger im just lettin them go they will stop it when the are ready i wouldnt push the issue its a security thing for them some kids have dummies ours just suck there thumb or finger.

Hi, I'd try putting something that tastes a bit awful( but harmless) on their fingers. May deter them from putting them back in their mouths.
