That's good to know. It's Xmas time, and it's his first. I'm encouraging all the family and friends to go easy on the toys since he doesn't really play with them. I will encourage the walkers and big stuff.

Totally normal. In fact I make it a regular practice to not really buy toys. Wooden spoons are my youngest son's favorite! And pots and pans and measuring spoons. I went to the dollar store to get cheapies so I would still be able to find mine!! Saves money and I get to spend more on the really cool toys like walking things and big stuff instead of little trinkets like play keys:)
