If you enjoy gardening, something I saw in a Parent Magazine was to "plant" his binky.....he helps you bury in the ground then sprinkle a few seeds in the top of the soil. Help water it everyday and see what grows! Other parents will slowly snip off the tip until the child doesn't want it anymore or there are none left. The biggest thing with weening is to be consistent....don't hang on to one "just in case" because you will find a time when you can't handle it anymore so you give in & all the work goes down the tubes.

I have a daughter, but have always heard training boys is more difficult. I would advise, though, that you train with him sitting down so as not to worry about teaching the aiming just yet. Once he is tall enough & can control somewhat.....cheerios in the toilet that he "sinks" is something that I have heard many times!!!

What other subjects are you wanting advise on??????

I am not sure I understand this post. Are you looking for advice on these things? If so, what exactly are you having trouble with (ie how often does he use a binkie, what kind of potty does he have, is he in pain when teething and/or cranky or what)?
