Hey moms,

I just learned something exciting about those feeders for babies. You know the ones - they have a little handle and a net-type bag to put fresh fruit and veggies in. I had heard that if you use it for a fresh banana, you might as well throw it away - you can't get it clean. I didn't listen. :) After 2 runs through the dishwasher and several handwashings, I finally decided to try to throw it in the washing machine with my towels. It worked! I pulled it out of the washer, good as new.

So, before you throw away your mushy fresh food feeder, try the laundry first! :)

I heard that they work great for ice cubes as teethers...your little one just gets wetter!

I found using a toothbrush helped get some of the food out.
