Do the 3 day potty training programs work? I'm at my wits end here with my son. I had started potty training him back at Christmas and he was doing great, but a family crisis left me with no time or energy to keep going so I stopped. Finally stop making excuse and started trying again. He longer is successful. I mean he'll sit on the potty for me, he likes wearing underwear. He likes his stickers and treats. But after 4 days he stopped peeing on the potty and waits 5mins after we get then pees on the floor. He yells he wet, then runs into the bathroom and sits on the potty. Sometimes tries to clean it up so he's not getting the point. I don't know what to do.

I've never even heard of those. The thing that really helped me was, if your son has a favorite character or something, buy those type underwear and keep repeating all day, "you can't potty on ___________". My son loves Disney CARS so I got those underwear. I kept telling him he couldn't get CARS wet and eventually, he wouldn't. Now, he's dry all day at school and at home. Whenever we go out, I stopped the pullups and he wears straight underwear. He hasn't been wet at all and finally, I can wipe my brow! Good luck, it's difficult but when he's really ready, he'll just get it. You'll be so surprised, wondering when it happened.

I heard good things from moms on potty training in 3 days. I watched a video on it and was amazed. There are several methods but I like this one the best. If you were to go to http://www.truekidsstories.org you can see the video under the Other Mom Products. You probably just need to start your son's training all over again. Good Luck!

We did that with DD and it really works. I and two other mommies in playgroup did it together and only one of the three is still in diapers at night (with the occasional accident during the day). I will tell you it's hard but so worth it! PM me if you have any questions.

3 day potty training works - like a charm! i too was at my wits end with my 2yr old - would only say potty after he,s gone and done it in his pants. and that was Mar 2010. today, we actually do the did in the toile tand wash our hands too. give yourself, your son and the potty another go and you will be amazed at teh results. good luck!

I use that program. I loved it my son was truely trained in four days! I had heard horrible stories about my friends and other people trying to potty train their little boys. So I thought I would try it, because I really didn't know how to go about potty training. But every kid is different so maybe I just got lucky I'm not sure.

my son won't use a potty or the toilet. He tried the toilet a few weeks ago and won't go back cause he almost fell in. It scared the jeepers out of him. but he will go again soon when he realises that his sister uses the toilet. my daughter is 4 years old and when she goes to the toilet she stands up like a man when boys go to the toilet. I keep telling her she is not a boy that she has to sit down when she goes. but every time she goes to the toilet she still stands up. my son helps her sometimes by giving her some toilet paper

like Kim said when hes ready he will get it but what helped my nephew was we would put cheerios or fruit loops or basicaly any cereal in the toilet and tell him to sink them. After about 2 weeks of that he would run to the bathroom and use the potty.
