Hold your babies tight!

My son Michael was born Feb. 15th, 2008. He was born with a rare chromosome deletion and spent his first 2 months in the hospital. During his first year, he was in and out of the hospital 3 times. On January 28th, he had a seizure that caused him to go back into the hospital. He later died on Feb. 1st. Exactly 2 weeks from his 1st birthday. So I say again ladies, hold on you your little ones. Hug them constantly, and tell them you love them 100 times a day! It is an aweful thing to lose a child and I hope that none of you ever have to experience it. Your children are the same age as my Michael and you will get to watch them grow up and live their lives. So please, NEVER take that for granted!!

I cannot even imagine the pain you must be going through. Thank you for the reminder to treasure every moment. I guess we never really know how long we'll have them, do we? They are such gifts. Your family is in my prayers. May God comfort you with His strength and wisdom. He lost a son too :'-(

I am so sorry to hear about your baby boy. my son was also born on 15 feb. i cannot imagine what you are going through, my heart broke into a million pieces reading your story. it must be the worst thing ever to lose a child. you are so brave to talk about it. i will hold my baby tight, i will be paying for you and your family. my heart really goes out to you. how does one get over losing a child. My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. My husband and I lost our twin sons who were born prematurel on April 23, 2004. They died less than 24 hours later. I know all too well the pain of losing a child.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. That is such a sad thing and I am so sorry you guys had to go through that. I could not even imagine that pain. I will be praying for you guys. I will ALWAYS be holding my son tight an loving him for the rest of my life. Thanks for sharing your story!

I am soooo sorry for your loss!  I just can not imagine.  I love my little one so much-I just really enjoy being with him and watching him.  Each night I pray for him to always be with me!

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the pain. I tear up just thinking about losing my little one. Thank you for the reminder. Time with our kids -- and really any loved ones -- is precious and we should never take it for granted.
