Hello all. Just thought I'd share my story. My son Magnus was born February 29, 2008. That's right, he's a leap year baby. On that day, the town I live in, only 1 girl was born, the rest were boys. It was amazing. We have decided to celebrate his birthday on March 1 every year. The reason I chose this is because my doctor told me that was my due date. If it wasn't a leap year that year then she would have been on the dime. Strangely enough I think I was the only parent that day who decided to celebrate in March. I love my leap year baby sooo much, it's amazing, these precious gifts we are given.

I also have leap day babies....yes twins (b,g) born on 29 feb 2008. I did mention this to the doctors before they decided that they had to come out now! We have't really decided which day to celebrate, I'll go with the flow and if it's best on the 28th we'll do it or the 1st. Either way the twins are just happy to have a birthday with family and friends and I'm blessed to have them healthy and happy.

My son, Gavin was born on February 29, 2008 as well. My water broke around 10:30am & I was 2 weeks early. As a single mom I'm blessed to have my son, a leap baby! Congrats to all the moms with leap babies!

My son is a leap yr baby as well! I've decided to celebrate on both the 28th, (evening), and the 1st (all day). I was one week overdue and i was supose to be induced the day before, but the hospital was booked and asked me to come in the next day. =) I dont mind one bit that it was on leap year. Maybe every four years i can come up with something extra special to do. Any ideas?
