He is 2 yo. Keep having constiaption. This worry me alot. Everytime he can't poop he will cry a lot. He dislikes drinking water. We try many things. So, is this a good decision. My first son fully breastfeed until 2 yo. Then he stop breastfeed and drinking water only. He is fine.

As suggested you could try adding a little fruit juice to the water. Children of this age can move on to semi-skimmed milk (before 2 use full fat milk) so there is no harm with weaning of breast milk.

If that doesn't work you could also try the formula that is made for toddlers.

We had something kinda similar happen with my daughter. She would only drink milk and eat cheese. But when we decided to ween her off the bottle and to use a cup her appetite increased so much more. She has no problem going to the bathroom now, and it sure looks better than it did while she was only drinking milk. We also give her 2% now instead of the whole milk. But she's doing quite well.

Hi Shalwa I personaly would not stop his milk, but also introduce more fruit and vegtables into his diet, more so the citrus fruits as these will help to soften anthing he has to pass. My daughter also drinks fresh fruit juice slightly diluted. Hope these suggestions help.
