Hello ladies

I have started giving table food to my son. For snacks I have been giving him Cheerios and Baby Mum Mums. I'd like to have more variety. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Bananas, Pears that are soft, wheat bread/toast, Oyster crackers, Cubed Cheddar Cheese (quartered), Plain Yogurt ( add bananas, or whatever after they are intro seperately), Puffs, Egg YOLK (cooked solid), and just about anything else that is easy to chew with little to no teeth...my DR says that we can start Oranges without the membranes between now and 1yr....

Gerber has little fruit puff, Noah didn't like the banana ones. I also feed him cube cheese, low salt crackers, can beans, oranges, avocados, toast. Any thing that I can cut into small pisces for him to feed himself he loves. I also cook carrots and other vegetables, pasta. Noah loves apples I just have to peal the skin off.

I give my 9 month old harder fruits and veggies like carrots and all....he likes them because it soothes his gums , now that he is teething...

Have you seen those baby feeders? You can put strawberries, etc in them and no worries of baby choking.....I love them....

I need more ideas too! I also give my daughter tiny bits of chopped bananas because they are so mushy and easy for her to eat with just one tooth. With apples, and other harder fruits and vegies, you can microwave small pieces until they are mushy. It is hard to find quick snack ideas though. The prep of bananas goes pretty quick.
